I revisited this song that I used to LOVE about 6 years ago, and oh wow, I totally understand past me, this song is freaking sexy :'))) Mamo-chan did an amazing job once again!
@@ele6098 lol Tokiya Ichinose's voice actor is Mamoru Miyano. He's singing the parts between the main lyrics like "I want it to change", "sing it", etc. for some reason the off vocal version left that in. Whoever mixed this did a really good job blending Shou's vocals. I was already familiar with the song so I knew this was a cover but when I listen to a Japanese song I haven't heard before I always look for【歌ってみた】in the title if it doesn't say "cover." It means "I tried to sing" although the meaning kind of sounds different in English. It's a cultural phrase so it's hard to translate. It's a way of showing respect to the original artist when someone makes a cover of their song.

It's hard finding Uta no Pri songs on RUclips, especially since so many have been taken down over the years, so I had this saved amongst the others I continuously add to a playlist (due to being deleted constantly.. lol) and never doubted it being the original until I read the comment and found the original on SoundCloud and was shocked Miyano Mamoru did not sound like this, lol. Thanks for pointing out "【歌ってみた】", that's a fun fact to know from now on.
@@ele6098 I'm glad I could pass on a bit of info! Elements Garden and Broccoli are so aggressive about keeping Utapri songs off of RUclips. I don't understand why they don't upload them on their own channel or claim monetization instead of copystriking other channels and taking down videos
