Being Irish and living in Manchester 22 years with extended family in Ireland, the Irish Ferries Ulysses is my all time firm favourite ferry, especially the Club Class Lounge - I’ve done this crossing from Holyhead to Dublin in both daytime and overnight crossings in both summer and winter - I’d love to do this crossing from Liverpool (not Birkenhead) to Dublin, even from the Manchester Ship Canal at Salford Quays and further up the Liffey at high tide up to the Custom House
im going on this ferry (well its either this one, Irish ferries, or stena) in late august this year, Im so excited! It will be my first time ever abroad from the UK and im going with my granddad to see the town where he grew up 'Skerries' and I'm soooo super excited
You are in for a real treat - there are always lots of seriously handsome Irish men on this crossing, which as an older Irish gay man in the U.K., I always notice, as I’m always on hunk-watch and I’m a shameless flirt - my next trip home to Ireland on SailRail is to find myself some prime Irish beefcake as I’m looking for a handsome Irish boyfriend/husband 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️
@@my3rdeye896 Nice camera👍🏼 I got some questions. Can we bring outside food in? And when you show around VIPs and private club sections, can we enter those sections just to look around a bit (just like how you did in the video) or we have to pay certain amount to enter?
@@ashnim3597 yeah you can bring your own food and drink on the ferry. There's also cabins that are like little hotel rooms nothing fancy but you can shower and sleep there. No you don't need to pay extra to go anywhere on the ferry as far as I am aware. However there is private sections for the long haul lorry drivers.
Hi it all depends on how you travel car van coach etc and how many passengers. I can't remember how much we paid the time of year also affects the price. You can check prices on their websites look on irish ferries stena line etc there's different options on there. Thanks for watching 👍
To guarantee your place I would. But you can usually just turn up also but its a bit of a gamble. Especially if you want to book a cabin room to rest. Safe journey 👍
I've just done this trip from rosslare to pembroke and back and my god how bad , all the vds show this lovely ship with many deck with restaurants bars and very clean but the reality is its a floating rust bucket with one very old dest with very to sit on its dirty and freezing cold and the cost of the food and bar is a complete rip off !! Its pure shit
Hi thanks for watching. Yeah it's a hard journey especially this time of year. Our ship was lovely as you can see in the video. But I have been on some others that are really outdated and like you said a rust bucket. You need to check which one you're booking beforehand. Iv had some terrible sailings. And the food is always very over priced you're right. Hope your trip was good out from your journey 👍

Those chocolates were a rip off
Yeah I thought so too. The duty free on the way back was slightly cheaper
