Hi Rob. You are doing amazing so far. Please can you do a review of the JBL Boombox or Boombox 2? It really doesn’t matter which one you do, but I would really like to see how you view the sound quality of the speaker. Keep up the good work!
Thank you I appreciate the kind words. I have played with the Boom Box in the store and it's loud, the sound quality is as good as all JBL products but I find that again, it's overpriced. If you need something with a battery and that's very portable, instead of the boom box I would go with the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom, it's not quite as loud, but it makes up for it in sound quality. Plus it's stylish enough for your living room. Heres a link to the review. ruclips.net/video/ial_Nodn4fw/видео.html
Robs reviews and demos Thank you. I have seen your review on the Hyperboom and I think it is a very good speaker for the price. @@leigh-ann7508 Unfortunately I have another LG lined up next and I've had several requests to do some sony's. If I do the boom box it will be awhile. Sorry. What makes you want the Boom Box? Because I'm a nice guy I just went to compare the stats for the Hyperboom and the Boom Box. The Hyperboom will go lower on the bass, outputs about the same for both, battery life is the same, but the Hyperboom charges in 2.5 hours compared to 6 hours for the boom box. They are both splash proof. SO basically the Hyperboom beats the Boom box in every category, plus it's way prettier. It also has a customizable EQ in the app and it has the very cool Adaptive EQ, which is awesome. Basically it senses when you move it and adjusts the sound for the placement of the speaker. I have brought it to several parties and everyone loved it. It also retails at 400 bucks compared to the JBL's 500 dollar price tag. If I were you I'd go with the Hyperboom, it's a much nicer speaker and it's cheaper.
@@leigh-ann7508 Cool, according to the specs I just read, the UE actually goes 5Hz lower and it's just as loud. Buy both and return the one you don't like as much.
Hi robs, the xboon rn7 is on sale here in Brazil. I'm thinking buying one. Did you ever test how it works on acoustic guitar / mic ? The partybox 300 is 2,5x the price =( thanks
Do you think so, the rk7 definitely had the best bass, the jbl has the best lighting, style and bass at low volumes, but all around features and sound I liked the rn5. The jbl is the better portable speaker for sure.
They're both nice speakers. The pb100 is great, it goes very low, it has a battery, is very well built and it's pretty to look at. The rn5 is louder, has a more of a jarring bass you can feel thump and has more features. But the frequency response is not as low on the lg and it's not much to look at. If I had to pick one and they're priced the same, I would go with the JBL.
I'm so torn between the rk7 and the rn5. How many decibels do they go up to. The rn5 is cheaper but it honestly looks like a washer or a dryer. I just don't know abt putting it in my livingroom. The rk7 on the other hand looks good and can turn sideways Infront my TV console. What do u think ... How many decibels do they go up to
I think they're pretty close in volume. The rk7 will do stereo if you get a second though and the RN5 has better clarity. I like the sound of the rn5 better but it IS ugly.
@@Robsreviewsanddemos just wish I new the spl of the rk7..I plan to get it and use a toslink splitter to play it with my jbl 5.1 soundbar at the same time BC I think my soundbar doesn't play loud enough. Love to sing too. Thanks for responding. Watching fr Jamaica
@@happytotin2382 The RK7 goes lower than the rest but the rn5 shakes the house more. The JBL isn't far behind plus it has a battery. If I had to choose one and I didn't need a battery I'd probably go with the rn5, but if I planned on getting two eventually I'd go with the rk7.
Sure it will, but it's 3 g's right? I can't afford to buy that yet. I'm sticking with the more reasonable priced stuff because I think most people won't pay that kind of money for a speaker.
If you could answer a couple of questions it would help me ensure you get something you'll love. How will you use the speaker most of the time? Do you plan on adding a second unit in the future? What kind of music do ya listen to. How important is the functionality, Karaoke, sound effects, recording, etc? Is lighting important to you? Last but not least what's your budget? Those answers will tell me what I need to know to make a recommendation. Three to five hundred dollars is a nice slice of cash to invest in a speaker, so I want to consider everything and make sure you get a unit you will enjoy for years to come. Also I have tested several other units around the same price that may fit you better and the new Samsung Giga T50 is on it's way.
Robs reviews and demos hey I’d love to answer these and have you recommend as well’ So I’m in college so having one that will be good when we got the house full of people is important. I don’t plan on adding another speaker unless I had to. I want one loud enough to use outside obviously not too far away but be able to hear it playing bags or whatever. We listen to a lot of country but the parties have a lot of EDM and rap as well. The lights and stuff really aren’t important. I just want solid Bluetooth connectivity. I’d be willing to spend up to 500 bucks. Thanks a lot!
@@caseyleez2477 I absolutely love the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom. The Hyperboom goes for 400 regular retail. It's very easy to move and sounds amazing. It's plenty loud for reasonable sized parties. If you want around 600 watts of power for those huge bashes, go with the LG RN7 which I am reviewing now. The LG does not have a battery but handles all types of music better than most speakers. Watch the bass boost demo and you decide, it's towards the end. I liked the lg rn5 best but the rk7 goes lower for sure. It doesn't sound as crisp though.
Portanto, eles não avaliam a potência nos novos modelos, mas se eu tivesse que adivinhar, diria cerca de 240 watts de áudio reais. É assim que o JBL é avaliado e eles têm quase o mesmo volume. Thanks you for watching Antony.
I had an rk7 and don't get me wrong it sounded great, but it's not no 550 rms...more like 100 or so plus my aiwa exos 9 rated at 200 watts sounds just as good if not better in my opinion.
Wattage can be misleading, it really depend on a combination of wattage and speaker sensitivity. Decibels is a more accurate reading of how loud a speaker is, but then it can be loud and have no bass. That's where I and other reviewers come in. You either trust the reviewers opinion or you don't. I've seen some reviewers that give everything a great rating, it helps them get more free demo products from manufacturers. I'll never do that, I will always give you my honest opinion and if I think something sucks I'll say so. I haven't tried the Aiwa, but I hear good things. The Rk7 is a decent speaker for the price, it's missing something in the mids and highs though. I find most speakers without mids never sound quite right. Some do better than others like JBL, but some like Sony stick if they don't have mids. Thank you for the comment and watching.
I've always been into audio systems but I've noticed quite a few company's over exaggerate their wattages or they're rating them a lot differently...take receivers for example..a lot of them are rated at 100 watts a channel or more..then you take a 40 watt a ch receiver from the 80s and it'll blow them away even through just one single speaker, but if you ever do get a chance to try the aiwa...jump on it. It amazes me every time I turn it on..plus it has a 5 band equalizer to adjust the sound too. As an owner of both myself I think the aiwa sounds every bit as good if not better than the rk7 and can get pretty loud too but what's even greater which was the one thing I hated about the rk7 is the fact it has a battery too. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you get one plus they have really good customer svc too if you would have problems.
@@justingalasso1850 I believe it when it comes to the aiwa. Check out my videos on the Hyperboom. It is absolutely my favorite bluetooth speaker I've tested by far. You gotta remember speaker sensitivity has a lot to do with how loud a speaker is. So even thought the JBL's output is only 240 watts the speakers are more sensitive witch is why it's louder. I do agree it's way over priced at regular retail but if it's on sale it's worth it. It also has a huge battery that lasts hours and that's a great feature. That said I have no use for a battery powered speaker that size, which is why I like my LG's more.
My experience is that the LG Rk7 and the JBL are not so different of the volume because the Rk7 goes to 40 max .on the Mobile phone maxed it goes only to 25
@@thefirstscranox4719 Yep, that's the one thing I hate about the lg's, gotta use the remote to turn it all the way up. The PB 300 is definitely louder than the rk7.

My mic goes down to 17 hz. If you can't hear it sorry buddy. All I can do is share my experience, you don't have to agree with it. Maybe you should start your own channel and do some tests. Thanks for watching and have a merry Christmas bro.
@@a..b..9308 Sorry but you obviously didn't try a comparable lg model. Which models did you try? I've had many models side by side and while the jbl's used to have better sound quality the lg's always had better bass all the way through the volume. When I did my first battle between lg and jbl I had never owned an lg before and I thought there would be NO WAY the LG could stand side by side with the jbl. But they have, and the new models are a better value, have equal sound clarity and more bass. I know you're a fan of JBL and so am I, but I will NOT lie to my viewers. The LG's are ugly and the large models don't have batteries, that's the only place they are lacking. When it comes to sound they are at a minimum equal and they actually beat the jbl's in some cases, especially when it comes to the new RN models. They also have way more functionality, the on board EQ for example makes a big difference.

Thanks brother. I don't remember the names but they're all in the RUclips music library, try searching under hiphop and dark for the mood.
Mr Robs I want to buy LG XBOOM ON9
It is the same model as the LG XBOOM RN9, but is only increased in the CD unit
I want your valuable advice, Mr. Robs. Is the LG XBOOM ON9 worth buying and is it value for money or not ?
And I want to know how many watts it is because I searched a lot and did not find any answers ?
Thanks in advance, Mr. Robs
Greetings to you .
I don't think so because it doesn't have mids. I spoke to someone who bought one and they liked their OK75 better. I'd pick the on7 first.
Please do comparison of jbl party box300 vs lg ok 75

I would just suggest maybe doing a review on the Boombox 2 (maybe you can borrow it for a few days) because I would really appreciate your opinion on it before I buy it. Thank you!
Robs reviews and demos I like it’s features, its design, its low bass content and its loud sound signature

Yes, that's a great price.
Did you have the JBL plugged in while doing this comparison? You lose performance on the JBL when it's unplugged FYI
Yes you lose a few decibels and some bass, so I always plug the jbls in. The newer models are a little better on the rolloff
If you want to test the quality plug it in. Huge difference between battery and AC.
They were all plugged in
That's not even close, listening to all 3, JBL definitely has won that easily 👍👍
Do you think so, the rk7 definitely had the best bass, the jbl has the best lighting, style and bass at low volumes, but all around features and sound I liked the rn5. The jbl is the better portable speaker for sure.
How about rk7 against sony xp700?
Jbl GO3 I’m going bro I have a question for jblGO3
I don’t know anything about it
In my country are only selling rn5 and jbl 100, would you recommend so far the rn5 between both?

I like the sound of the rn5 better but it IS ugly.

jbl's partybox really benefit from the bass boost level 1! it increases low frecuency bass only.
Yes I made a video about this.
Hi! Which one would you recommend.
Robs reviews and demos hey I’d love to answer these and have you recommend as well’
So I’m in college so having one that will be good when we got the house full of people is important.
The connectivity is good to around 60 feet I believe, the speaker is loud and sounds excellent. It sells for 500 bucks regular retail. I picked one up for $450 on sale. Lg 550w but
Power=100w :)
@@enderbakan4748 refer to my response to Justin Gallaso

So stupid! LG is 550W and JBL only 240W (Max)! They made PB300 so underpowered and we must pay 500€ for that!!!
