It's unfortunately normal for comic book shops to be so over-stuffed with the stuff from the 2000s that the vintage stuff is either pushed to the side or outright squeezed out. Also factor in that younger buyers have no sentimental connection to the vintage, either. It's worthless to most of them.
Power of the Force 2 figures will still be sitting on comic store pegs when the sun implodes.
Well at least they have healthy selection of POTF2 figures.
I used to chase skirts in Tifton in the old days, now I go to that shop there and the flea market when I need a break from War Town.

I'm surprised that no one ever came out with the aircraft carrier from the first Avengers movie. I know they made them in Japan and sold it in Japan. I'm surprised no one ever produced One in the in the US. That would have been a big seller.

I've been checking the local comic shops by me and only 2 or 3 have any vintage Kenner figures. Have to go to ebay for most of my stuff.
i saw a fEW pieces i,d pick up ,& regret later on. $ 10.00 for Gen13 fig ... decent. That one 12" G.I.Joe looked just like that guy from Analog toys... Tony ? ... hmm... not a bad place to shop over all. i dont see shops like that where we live. : (
That Toxic Avenger figure looked cool that was laying on the counter. I have that Retro Collection Tarkin still sealed with the Escape from the Death Star game, I caught it on sale on for about $10 about a year or two ago. $20 would be an even better deal if it came with the game. Though I’ve been seeing the figure itself priced for around $30-$50 and that’s EBay prices. I’d still say $20 is fair for being MOC.
So I take it most of the stuff they have is from the 1990's up to the present day? Not much if any 70's and 80's toys, huh? Granted, those Star Wars figures on the retro-style backing cards were nice, especially the Grand Moff Tarkin figure. Those POTF-era figures must've not been huge-sellers, because I see toy / comic shops and antique consignment shops stocked with them all the time. Pegs are loaded with them, and they just don't sell.
