They straight up weren’t targeting Diggs at all sometimes, so to say he was on the decline is kinda crazy
Nah bro, he was 6th in the entire league in targets and declined big time. The last 10 games Diggs was awful, the rookie shakir had less than half the targets and more production. And we all saw Diggs choke in the AFC title game
I like what I'm hearing from Bruce Feldman on J.J. McCarthy, but why so much running from Michigan if you have a a great passing QB? Or Is that just Jim Harbaugh's philosophy? Me, I see McCarthy with a long stride, long delivery, and fast ball only. McCarthy has 2 pitches. A 97mph fastball and a 96mph change up. So if Patriots want J.J. McCarthy, they'll need to pick him at 1/3. If Patriots(1/3) trade down with the NY Giants at 1/6, they'll receive 1/6, 2/47, & a 2025 2nd rd pick. Giants will pick QB Drake Maye at 1/3. Minnesota trades down to Arizona at 1/4 and takes J.J. McCarthy. So Patriots lose out on both QB Drake Maye & QB J.J.McCarthy. At 1/5 LA Chargers take WR Marvin Harrison. So at 1/6 the Patriots would pick Left Tackle Joe Alt. And wouldn't pick either QB Michael Penix or QB Bo Nix.
Conclusion: The Patriots choice is Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy at 1/3.
