This song reminds me of my best friend who I liked... Both of us met when we were in kindergarten then I suddenly felt something towards her in 4th grade little by little I start to understand what this feeling is... I liked her... By the way! "Dyk? If you like a person for more than 4 months you don't like them... You love them!" -Ctto- ... Back to my story -> in 6th grade everytime I talk to her I suddenly get nervous or shy around her... Everytime she hugs me or kisses me on the cheek( Friendly kiss ) I get butterflies... But when freshman year came... She was in the hospital... She was abused by her father... She was dying... I didn't know that her father abused her... She would always tell me her problems... I felt so sad that she didn't tell me that she was getting abused... I rushed into the hospital room after we got the room no. I saw her she was laying down on the bed asleep... I hug her and sobbed uncontrollably... One of her eyes were purple, her nose was broken, her hands and feet are surrounded/ filled with bandage and brown paper... When the rest of my friends finally found her room that stood beside me... Crying too... Fast forward she was in the hospital for almost a month it was almost her birthday ( Bday - July 26th) me and my friends planned her birthday we were all excited ( we planned it on somewhere in July 15 or 16 I forgot) are plan was this:
-We would ask the doc if she was okay to go out for her birthday
-We will go to her favorite restaurant
-We would go shopping
-We would go to the park
-We would go to one of my friends backyard bc we would set up a small bday party just me, her amd our friends
-After that we would eat at our favorite restaurant
-After eating we would just go drive around the city
But... We didn't got to do anything we planned... ( July 20th) We came to the hospital excited to ask the doc if it was ok to let her free from the hospital for just her bday... But when we arrived at the hallway of her room I saw her parents and the doc I asked them what's going on they told me that she will die this midnight... Me and my friends stood there shocked... I run inside my Bestfriend's room and hold her hand telling her " Don't leave me please! I will miss you!! I love you Hailey! I LOVE YOU DON'T LEAVE ME " and I cried uncontrollably... I felt her hands touched my face... I look up to her since I was looking down on the floor on my knees... She told me in a peaceful voice... " I love you too... More than a friend nor as a bestfriend I love you as a lover... I have loved you ever since we were in 4th grade... I will miss you too... Hopefully as time past by you won't forget about me-" I stopped her there to say " I won't forget about you I promise!! Please don't leave me!! I don't want you to leave me...!!" She cried... Her parents came into the room cried too and my friends cried too... Midnight came we all say our last goodbyes... She's gone... Her father was arrested for murder, abuse and sexual harrassment... Turns out her father sexually harrassed both her, her brother, and her mother... I wanted to kill her father when she died... Before she left she made all of us promised her... We have different promises, my promised was " Promise me you would look up the sky everytime you achieve things, learn new things, or anything positive and promise me that you won't kill my father" No I had no interest of killing her father I just felt like that I want to kill her father... That's our promise... Now in sophomore year I always looked up everytime I gained a new friend, Achievements, learned new things and more... I missed Hailey so so much... I would always wear her bracelet she gave me before she died...I love you Hailey 😭❤
