Earl Kawaa, MSW - Kaʻōnohi Awardee 2024

Earl Kawa‘a, MSW is a social worker from Hālawa Valley on Molokai who has served Hawaiian families for Waimānalo Health Center, Keiki ‘o ka ‘Āina, and Kamehameha Schools. His board-and-stone workshops are a gateway to cultural revival, family strengthening, and community leadership for more than 5,000 families. Kawa‘a is also haku ho‘oponopono, with students on Molokai and O‘ahu, further strengthening Hawaiian families in need.
