Through this scene God has given me the words that I need to share with my estranged sons. I am 62 years old and have been a Christian since I was 14. I have TRIED to live the Christian life for most of those years. But looking back I lived so selfishly and made so many foolish mistakes and bad decisions. Many of which have caused my adult sons to almost hate me. The felt abandoned when that wasn't my attention. Oh forgive me God and work in my son's hearts too se You for who You really are and to eventually forgive me.
You know I don't believe in God anymore, and really dislike "his people", but this company makes dang good movies. Tear jearkers for real! Facing The Giants is one of my all time fav movies.
@tiana8440 lol no it doesn't. It's a movie that tugs at heart strings. Even if God wasn't involved you could make the exact same movie lol. They add God to put it in the church category lol
@@Alexp36500I would agree that it doesn't mean that. However, I don't think you actually dislike all or most of "his people". And there's logical reasons to believe God exists (you can do your own research) so I don't think we'd exist without him much less be creating movies.

I'll make it easy if you step foot in a church or "house of god" you don't like me(cuz that's what your told) and I don't like you(cuz you scream that I'm going to hell most days). So God isn't the issue. It's the men who did mushrooms back in the day who wrote the book, and the men behind the pulpit who are still probably doing mushrooms and taking all your money... oh excuse me you tithing 🙄. I shouldn't have to pay someone every Sunday to be saved. Gods fine. But the church men created for control of others ain't.
@sarahberkner And maybe tell your friends while your at it, that instead of protesting a free clinic that also happens to offer abortions, to go feed the homeless that's what Jesus said. To take care of others, not to scream at us that we're all gonna burn. Go be productive somewhere. Not on the internet for one Sarah for 2 somewhere people CONSENTED to you being. I know that word is a hard for the church. Especially your "men of god".
