Thank you sir. I have a challenge, everything is working fine except that anytime I set the pyenv shell 3.10.2, and type python --version
It still shows my previous 3.9.7

I had same issue. It's coused (in my case) by previous python interpreterr installed. To fix: uninstall python from ur computer, delete PATH variabiables related to old instalation, add new PATH variable pointing to pyenv shims folder.
