Top 10 prelim fights of 2022 part one and then do a part two at the end of the year. And you guys could do this every year and probably bust out more content and shine a light on lesser known fighters. Can’t wait to see it.
The only problem with this dude is that we can't show fight footage or the UFC will just take it down. So we'd have to still-frame everything and describe what's happening... Probably wouldn't be that good tbh
Ya they don’t really think about their videos they just make them after a fight and basically make a video for 1 fight😂 they take no time or effort for their videos
So you might not have noticed, but every fighter won their fight. We only considered "tests" to be fights they still won, they were just their first true test they had to pass. Francis Stipe doesn't work because of this, Francis lost that fight.
I feel that Sapp had a good start, but at some point in his career he just sorta stopped trying. It almost looks like he's flopping sometimes, but idk. He is turbo popular outside of the ring in Asia, so maybe he's just keeping it going while not inviting that much long term damage
great list but i have to disagree on fedor, while he got rocked and looked somewhat human against Kazuyuki Fujita, 4 or 5 fights later he got slammed right on his head by randleman, shrug it off and kimuraed the shit out of kevin! THAT was the point where i and probably a lot of other MMA fans thought that man is simply unkillable!
I still cant get over that Chad Mendes retired after fighting Volk. If he had any clue how dominant Alexander would become he mightve stayed around lol
What's more impressive with Chad vs Volk is Eugene shouts " go to the body " setting up one of the best bodyshots in MMA. It was well execute like you press ok on your remote.
Appreciate you legends, for always giving us content week after week, which way you going in the upcoming main event, you following your head or are you following your heart???
It would be the ultimate Fuck You to the UFC. Nate gets to leave, derails Khamzat for good, and he takes all the hype for himself wherever he goes. Extremely unlikely, but crazier shit has happened
Honorable mentions : Silva vs Sonnen 1 Stipe vs Ngannou 1 Mighty Mouse vs Cejudo 2 Aldo vs Mendes 2 McGregor vs Mendes Romero vs Tim Kennedy Usman vs Colby x2 Cain vs Verdum Figgy vs Moreno 1 Jiri vs Glover

Exactly. There really isn't controversy in my opinion. If anything it showed how one dimensional Santos was since she only could credited with "Control time"
Izzy vs Gastelum is gonna be in the HOF, that fight was one of the greatest title fights of all time but sad 😭 Gastelum hasn't been the same, Even Izzy it changed them both.
When I go back to watch the clips of the Conor/Aldo lead up and fight, I only wish I was watching then. I'm so glad I was there for all the hype behind Burns/Khamzat fight. Possibly my favorite fight of all time. The most hype I've been and it didn't disappoint
I think including a fight where someone percieved as invincible as of late faced adversity instead of the khabib fight. When Nunes looked like a deer blinded by a car it felt unreal for me. I mean I joked about pena being just the latest sacrifice to her like 5 minutes before she lost her title and not a single one of my friends disagreed.
Regarding Tibau vs Khabib, he's not Spiderman, he's Steroidman. That's the ONLY reason Tibau had success in taking The Eagle down and also stuffing his takedowns
When we see fighters dominate all of their early opponents i like to think it’s like playing Pokémon with a Pokémon you don’t know the level of. All you know is that it’s one shotting all of it’s opposition. Going up little by little. Take khamzat for example. You don’t know when your going to find yourself in a battle whether it’s against a lvl 20 GM3 a lvl 30 leach or a lvl 40 burns, but eventually you’ll figure out what lvl your pokemons at. Long story short no one is invisible, your favorite dominate fighter could lose his next fight or never lose again. That’s what great about this sport.
Makes one wonder how Khabib's career would have went had he continued. Would he have piled up more title defences? Would Charles Oliveira given him the toughest fight to date? Would he lose his next fight? 'Invincible' fighters always have their moment of truth where they have to dig deep to win, or lose in a massive upset.
As the old Roman adage goes... All men are mortal, all glory is fleeting. Legend has it that during military parades, a slave would follow behind the returning victorious general and repeat the line into his ear.

I'm still angry about that chimaev vs. burns fight, I still don't really understand how chimaev won that fight when burns very clearly had 2 knockdowns but none were counted for some reason
I was actually really hoping for the Tibeau vs Khabib entry, honestly the only time Khabib didnt significantly outstrength his opponent so he didn't have his way with the takedowns and grappling

I hear you but Jones really did look invincible until the first gustafsson fight. And tbh, he went back to being invincible for 6 more fights until Santos.. outside of Volkanovski (I’d personally add Mighty Mouse), there’s never been any male as dominant a force in one division like him

Valentina beat Santos. You can't win fights by attempted submissions, and getting a takedown and doing nothing with it.
