Domo arigatou gozaimashita !!! Thank you for including important notations in english. Although I could search for the translation, this, now allows me to follow your direction more easily. I look forward to each new video, and I learn from reviewing previous videos. I am enjoying my own progress as I pursue the art of Shodo. Again, Thank you! Respectfully, RS
Yes, as a fellow "Storck" I totally agree on that. My lines surely are a bit wiggly after all, but that video made basic strokes look much cleaner than before...
日本語の聞き取り練習に役立つ映像です。 Hopefully I wrote that correctly, I am studying Japanese at university and it felt fulfilling to be able to understand so much of your Japanese! 映像どうもありがとうございました。
sensei, do you have a recommendation for brush/ink for beginner? maybe something I can purchase online? I tried some brushes for amazon but I don't think theyre any good.
Martin Chrestensen お節介かもしれませんが。 In my view, There are four points when choosing a brush. The first is that the tip of the brush is sharp. Second, the tip of the brush is well organized. Thirdly, the tip of the brush must be a beautiful cone. The fourth is that the tip of the brush is elastic. “Tenraku” sold by a company called “Kuretake” is recommended for beginners because it is cheap. I love Denmark!!!

I'm good at horizontal lines. but my hands get super shaky when i draw vertical lines T.T
手首を固定して書くと上手く行くかもしれませんよ~。
It may work if you write with your wrist fixed.Good luck.
