I visited Maket Village, which was established in Selçuk district of İzmir by retired teacher Ayhan Çetin and his wife Nazmiye Çetin.
I listened to him that this village, which consists of models, is the model of the village where Ayhan Çetin was born, reflected his village's 1950s, and that he started to make a model together with his wife after retirement and they have been devoted to this business for about 25 years. He also said that these models are hand-made models describing the daily life of the Anatolian villages, customs (wedding, engagement, circumcision, soldier farewell, and children's plays).
