In Mahabharat shows and movies the face needs to be shown as he has a major role to play but in this movie it was the best choice to present him in a dark silhouette which brings the true majesty and glory to this particular scene .

As a 3D artist, the young amitabh Bachchan in beginning is very normal nowadays, they could have do it more realistic, and it’s not about budget its about skill, but yes they are doing pretty good

But if you want to understand this movie more then you should know little bit about Mahabharat Because it's connected to that.
