It strikes me as quite dry compared to Cross... but nothing will ever compare to Cross. But it is good and I'm very happy to see at least a partial return to their roots after 7+ years of Gaspard being a French goober
The theory is that Justice almost entirely used a vst called Rave Generator, a vst that includes every rave sound used in 90s (excluding obv drums, strings and bass guitar). You know Rave Generator...Generator. Yeah
yesss! still hella interesting how they used it, making a whole album styled like 90's rave and hard techno, combined with the human-robotic visuals the album has.
Hate when ppl say generator sounds like gesaffelstein or Sebastian as if Justice didn’t spawn both of those acts. Not hating on gesaffelstein or sebastian but Justice paved the way for their sound
Gesaffelstein yes, SebastiAn I'd have to disagree. I think he was the real MVP of that classic Ed Banger sound, he was about a year ahead of where Justice was in production ability but didn't pull through with an LP for too long (and it was pretty bloated, too). At best, SebastiAn and Justice shared all their notes and they grew together at the same time. But I think SebastiAn's influence is felt in that first album, heavily.
Justice and Daft Punk are my favorites when it comes to EDM. The Prodigy has to be up there too. Never got to see Daft Punk live but Justice and The Prodigy are insane! Justice during WWW is probably my favorite concert ever. I was blown away and sober. I felt like I was on shrooms at times or just tripping with my eyes closed with all the stars that would start flying towards you. The 40-something LED panels hanging that move around and even formed a cube around them, was absolutely incredible! Blew my mind away! And I've been to maybe 100 shows so far.
@@scoutwaffle6125 i'm joking lol, I believe the lyrics are up for a pretty wide range of interpretations i saw a good one with "the singer being frustrated with the refractory period after intercourse, and would rather become a woman to eliminate that frustration" it could also be about falling in love with a lesbian woman, and willing to be a woman to do be with her or it could just be a stylistic choice that's more evocative due to the juxtaposition of a masculine voice singing feminine lyrics
I was there in 2007 when they dropped their first album and it was a special time in my life that I'll never forget. Now why is RUclips pushing literally some random asshole to me who got popular just because he gave his opinion on some music. To him Justice is just another band to give his bland opinion about. To me Justice is part of my life.
Agree with you on woman, but Woman World Wide is amazing. Not a 'proper' release I guess, but it definitely proved to me that they can trend away from woman and into more of their older style
Gawd damn the lads havent sounded this good since 2007. Side note, we deserve a classic review for Cross
Could not agree more. The boys are back

I LOVE JUSTICE, i think there so underrated. I wanted to see someone react to it and i CANT WAIT FOR THE ALBUM TO RELEASE!!
Just listened to the whole album today. Holy shit. This project fucking rocked!
Might be my new fav edm album tbh

"Generator" would be a dope song for an NHL team to play after their boys score a goal on home ice!
My fav song is still "Stress", precisely the official music video edition. This song just embodies stress itself. The music video is cool too
Such a good song
Thanks for posting. I was really curious to see how he would react

Well SebastiAn was also making sounds similar to them. Idk if they'd really saw they spawned him

I’m sure this guy attacked Owen Wilson once in a rest room! “Salt peanuts, salt peanuts”
The intro about loving your wife lol
I knew that this would be out there somewhere

Swedish House Mafia >>>
Kevin Parker could be my woman 🤣🤣🤣🤣 big BUSSY energy
Pretty fucking gay but hey, I'm still rocking out to it. Big bussy energy forever, man
The glitchy stutters you're talking about seem to be back on the intro track of the album! Great call
Get his ass back here new justice banger dropped
Justice would have Daft Punk's fame is Daft Punk didn't exist. Legends man.
The bass on the end leg of Generator is very D.A.N.C.E
I heard it as “and I could be your one man”, trying to get someone to settle down with him instead of being friends with benefits.
We are so back
Really good tracks. The album dropped yesterday it’s magical
Justice is KING!!! 👑

Here for Tame Impala. I don't get ithis song. Is it about wanting an all night lesbian experience?
its actually about nuclear annihilation if you read between the lines
