You just know someone on the dev team has a bias towards Saber Alter. It can't be a coincidence that Vitch's anniversary banner included a 60% charge buster CE that was tailor made for Saber Alter to slot into the Koyanskaya/Oberon system on day 1.
My QP is weeping. Sure, Salter is a more long term investment, but my recent acquisitions are already bleeding my resources. Skadi, Merlin, Morgan, Nine 4 stars, and most recently, Tamamo no Mae. And then Summer. Plus side, the upcoming Servant Bonus will help recoup at least some of the losses.
I have np2 Muramasa and still chose her. Totally has nothing to do with her 1999 costume and that she now greets me in it every time I open the game or go to my in game room.
If I remember correctly in order to farm she needs her append 2 max which you cannot do with an np1 copy until bond 10. Slight downside but its fine. Also her and Chloe are like best friends for farming so thats neat.
Salter was my first servant to 2k fou and level 100. She’s my favorite f/sn character, and is a powerful saber among the 4-star sabers in the free sr ticket. I wish anyone who chooses her the same amount of love and enjoyment as I have had with her!
Man I too really want the charisma upgrade, something stupid like 20% party atk 20% personal NP 3 turns (lmao) but.. BUT! I really want the NP upgrade too, like the devs saying fuck it let's give her Arash numbers. My lvl100 SAlter is so ready for the buff! Man I love SAlter...
Cool story bro, still going to summon Katou Danzo. Honestly though, I just don't need Salter. If I need to buster farm can already nuke everything (including Lancers) with Melusine. And a NP1 Salter that won't really get crazy until almost a year and a half down the road isn't all that appealing. If I need a Saber will make due just fine with NP4 Artoria. So this ticket is all about character. And I'd honestly just rather add Danzo to the roster than even more Salter (she's already Santa and a maid, I think she's doing fine).
Salter is my main farmer idk why people think it’s difficult to farm with her currently, with any lv kaleidoscope+ append you just need 3 supports that can give 50 each with one having split batteries, 2 koyon +Oberon/waver/castoria, and for me I have her at np5 so she can even clear archer nodes if they aren’t 90++
I was farming the reines event with her, double koyan and reines/waver. It's completely doable with a superscope/kscope+append. I'm definitely going for NP2 just because NP1 is good, but NP2 would be better regardless (I'm also a massive Salter stan)
it was between np2 nito or np3 salter i think ill go with salter. not that i dont have other sabers. just because it might be useful someday somewhere.

I was considering grabbing NP2 Salter, however, my saber needs are completely filled. The better option for my account will be the NP 2 Faker. Sure Faker is base pool, but she was an incredible resource to have in the Sea Monster 90+ node.
Salter at NP1 has been my hardest and best carry since Fuyuki when I started years ago lmao, I love her and advocate for anyone to give the Edgy Baeber some much deserved love and pancakes. 😁🥰😋😂
Probably not, unless you wish to make her lv 120, witch it's a bad investment at all despite probably being better to get a new servant because of future content that force you to use many different servants, such as grail fronts, ORT and the elemental Maries.
Up to you. Id say no if all you would use her for is farming. As you could just use the other 2, but at the end of the day the game is about fun. So pick what you would have the most fun with. Like even if that buff for salter didnt exist, i still would choose salter lol
While you won't use her, I will say this is your last chance to get her as she has no other real banners and is story locked. Now NA might surprise us but that is a big if. Also I will say she has 2 SrtQ and Interludes which will help for x missions for SQs.
Salter seems better than Artoria, but that obviously doesn't mean Artoria is bad. Would you say it's still worth getting her over other 4 star options when i have Artoria?
Yes I have mentioned this multiple times so I will answer it again. As long as you have NP1 Artoria and SAlter, SAlter does more dmg. Also once Summer Kuro comes she out preforms both Artoria and Mordred with 3T farming with her buff by miles. And like he said CQs. TBF the Best AOE Sabers in game are SALTER/IBUKI and the new Takeru so that says alot on how good she is. The only downside is like the limited ones she is hard to NP2, while Mordred and Artoria can and probably will spook you. Also another thing he did not mention is that SAlter gets 2SrtQ and 2 interludes so you will get SQ off those and x total missions. If you are close to completing them.
Salter is a pretty long term investment. If you already have Artoria i don’t see the point in getting Salter other than for waifu reasons or seeing slightly higher damage numbers.
Why would u be using sabers? Hephastion is solid but compared to other arts single targets ( especially summer Erice who’s coming in a few months) she’s whatever

I already have a copy of her, so I’m using my ticket on another story locked servant. Not too sure who, but my roster doesn’t have any real holes so I just have to look who’s going to be on future banners I may summon on.

Baggy is good for CQs and solo not much for farming while Salter with her skill upgrade becomes a very efficient farmer and can be used for CQs so unless you have a dedicated saber farmer, Salter will become really good

Edit: I have wanna go for emiya because so far I have no AOE archers and I already have 8 out of 14 of the non-limited/story locked sabers (Salter not included)

For me it's between Salter, Hephaestion, or np2 Astraea. If I didn't have Artoria at 118 Salter would be the pick no questions.

Iirc since Salter is so hard to get, she is made to be effectively the better Artoria.

If an event CE has 0% starting charge, Salter NP2 will be able to use it while Artoria won't be able to. Something to consider.
