- This is an update on our 2 raised garden beds, we plan on adding more beds this fall so we can have them ready for the next season of 2022.

About Our Backwoods Homestead
We have always lived a simple life from the day we got married in 2005, we purchased the small house on 4 acres and have remodeled the entire house to fit our needs. We are working our way to a more self-efficient and sustainable lifestyle.
Hope to learn as we grow, and help others along the way.
We are excited about developing our property as a working Homestead.

Everything is looking pretty good there. We are having to water daily as well. Rain keeps going above and below us. it was great to see you at the picnic.
