These were the dark days of Y&R. As bad as they are now, at least Victor and Nikki are nice to each other as opposed to this time period. Victor was very cruel to Nikki for a while. I hated it. At one point he wished she was dead. I'm glad he doesn't act like that anymore.
It made for some great TV though! The collapse of the Clear Springs parking garage was one of the best weeks of Y&R IMO and this was just the fall out.
He was horrendous to her at this time, but she wasn't that much better to him. Don't forget she was messing around with this dude while they were married and she actually started living with him in Victor's face on Victor's ranch! This was a horrible time to be a Niktor fan 😥
