Simply spectacular!! when you want to do things right!! congratulations bro!! Who would have imagined that a Chevy Equinox could be equipped in this way 👌
Funny thing is I bought an active 2 originally and it failed first try! Leaked water from the internals and returned it asap. Im sure it was a one off defected unit but it totally turned me off to the active lol
Dope setup. You could buy a simple trunk organizer with 3 seperate compartment for like $20 and put your dirty towels in. Wheels and door jams in one. Interior and windows in one and wax and sealant in a other
Appreciate it and yeah I don’t view it as starting at all lol it’s been nearly a decade of detailing and I have a shop. This just made more sense than buying a van at the time. I no longer have this set up tho. Focusing more on my shop based detailing opposed to mobile work.
Thanks! Got it at Lowe’s Check out lowes for their outdoor rugs j wanna say it’s 6x8 and around 25 bucks. Very easy to work with and easy to staple onto the plywood. I have more links in the bio of my Instagram for the other equipment I used so feel free to check it out @ Purcellspro_detail
Bad ass set up bro! What kind pump did you use? I went thru like 3 of them last year and keep burning on me.. im trying get my set up ready for the season..
Hi! I have a very similar setup, but having issues with the pump to drive water from the tank to the pressure washer and from pressure washer to the water line. Is there any way we can talk on how you got yours done?

What is the hose that splits off at the T and goes upwards. I'm basically copying your setup with my 75 gallon tank and pump I just bought off Amazon. Please help if you see this!! Thank you so much!!
Hey bud! The hose that goes up is going to the pressure washer! I have one going to the pressure washer and then one going to a garden hose as a bucket/bottle filler. Hope that helps!
No fuses I have them plugged into a surge protector which is plugged into the generator. Each plug also has an adapter plugged in so I can use a remote to shut them on and off as needed.
I’ve been focusing more on my shop based detailing so actually I no longer have this set up, and now running a more simple set up out of a mid size truck
What size water tank and where did you get it because I’m trying to fit one in my 2010 Subaru outback but I can’t find any good ones please can you help me?
This is a 33 gallon tank and it’ll fit in nearly every sedan. Check my bio on here or Instagram and you’ll see my links to the water tanks. I also have a water tank video and water pump video with links.
Curious how you keep the pump from 1: overheating (do you have a return? And 2: how do you ensure the pump doesnt leak?. I have a small suv I’m trying to setup and this type of setup would work great.
This pump in particular is pretty awesome because it has an automatic shut off when it reaches a preset pressure. Only comes on when demand is needed. In terms of leaking it is very difficult to prevent leaks. However I ended up using a few hose clamps as well as plumbers tape and plumbers dope to goop it up and stop the leaks. This was a great set up I worked hard on, but I’m now running a set up out of a truck again so I’ll be sure to make a video on that
@@Top_Notch_Tomhey I just bought a ram pick up and want a setup for the back but my dad kept insisting to get a suv so I won’t have to take nothing down when I get home … true but it’s my first truck and want to try it out
