    Taking the belt off to verify the noise is from a driven item is helpful. Then using a stethoscope to narrow it down.

    Just some food for thought that a viscious coupler fan (which I believe yours i but I'm not all that familiar with jeeps) needs to be stored upright and if laid on its side for prolonged periods of time can cause it to fail which is what I personally think happened with yours while you were rebuilding the jeep. Can't wait to see this thing finished!

  • @scottbrown173
    @scottbrown173 18 дней назад

    Congratulations on the first drive. Viscosity coupler on the fan is a likely culprit of your noise. Great to see your progress. Congratulations again!

    • @Thisappaintreal
      @Thisappaintreal 23 дня назад

      @@gasNmudtv nah the frame is almost perfect. I’ve already done entire front end, needs the 4.7 rebuilt or replaced. Has some minor rust that needs addressed. And paint work. Again I understand it’s a very different project than the Jeep restoration but I am curious to what the average person will/would spend restoring something not super old
