What a great way to start your day (and practice session)
The best part about this piece is that the notes are not particularly difficult like in other advanced or intermediate pieces, its the intonation, dynamics, etc. That make it a beautiful and strangely difficult piece, definitely one I had fun sight reading (though im nowhere near these 3 yet lol)
I’ve been playing flute since the fourth grade, and have finished my first year of college. Now currently am working on joining the national guard army band and I absolutely adore this piece and your work! What a beautifully done rendition! Absolute beauty in your writing, I love every bit of it! I can’t wait to be able to perform this piece with other musicians in the future! I’m only 19 years old and here I am lucky to be alive and witness such astoundingly beautiful music.
I'm very happy to hear your music being performed by such people! I wonder, why you write so many pieces for flutes? Do you play that instrument or is it simply because you like it?

Thank you! I don’t play the flute myself but do love the instrument. I was fortunate to meet many talented flute players, which inspired me to write for the instrument. The positive response to my flute music and having it performed by great musicians like these encouraged me to keep writing for flute.
