This movie can not ever be replicated. Watch it once in a while and remember, some very talented people used to make good movies in the past. Every line, every scene quotable, etched in memory, along with the music, yet eternally rewatchable and gives the same thrill as for the first time.
Such an undervalued actor .......2 of the biggest hitters from that era and genre - Terminator and Aliens (later on with Navy seals) had Michael Biehn as a leading role and the films were absolutely amazin !!!!

Frost had two legendary directors fighting over him? That's kind of insane to be in that position when you think about it. FMJ is a AAA film but Aliens set the standard in the movie industry for what Sci-Fi Action/Horror should be from then on.
I think as a child I liked Hicks because he gave Newt the watch and made her feel like someone was trying to help her feel they were going to get her out of there.

To Assemble So Many Wonderful Actors From One Great Cast In One Place At One Time And Only Let Them Each Speak A Couple Of Times, And Then End Quickly, Saying Their Time Was Up, Inexcusable! The Whole Thing Was Over In 38:32 Minutes! What Were They Thinking? They Could At Least Have Given Us An Hour. Also, It Didn't Seem To Be Well Organized And The Mics Were Too Short And Not Well Coordinated. Too Bad! So Glad Bill Paxton Was There. "Game Over Man!"

its a tough one to call.. i think ridley is being a douche. who knows he might even being setting up a prometheus part 3 that would push alien 5 back in even further... it just to me too many negatives. i mean ths is going to be 33 years after aliens at earliest, weaver and Biehn look completely different not to mean hitting 70!? they really going to be leading roles running arounf fireing pulse rifles. how do they retcon alien 3 ect . the movie would probably need be a Jenifer Lawrence type lead to play newt.. and then it will probably be similar to alien covenant...

GOOD4U360 As many of us were aware the project was shelved by Fox so Alien Covenant could come out first and presumably the other final prequel. It’s heavily speculated that Ridley Scott was a factor in the movies cancelation, but who knows, now Fox is bought by Disney maybe they’ll revive the project. Slim but possible.
I don't think Carrie would be in Alien 3.5 , if they want to follow the events of Aliens. Sigourney and Michael can still play their roles a bit older but for the story I think Newt shouldn't be an adult but a teenager instead.
They might make Newt older just because Biehn and Weaver are too old for it to really be believable that Newt has only aged 10 years...however, either way, Carrie won't be in it. she's not acted except in the Aliens movie and is a full-time public school teacher.

Ripley had the biggest applause. I applaud all but ripley. The marines made that movie they deserved better applause
