Taras is very typical Ukrainian name, Stanin is a Traders surname can be related to both Ukrainians and Moscovians(Russians), but Omsk is a part of the so-called Serj Klin that has been a large settlement of Ukrainians since 18..19 century.

Русские - это конфесиональная принадлежность к русской православной церкви. Только тогда надо и понимать подленность русской правосславной церкви на территории Московии... ф история совсем не проста и русскость московитов ставилась и ставится под сомнение и Констатинополем и Киевом.
Русь - в летописном смысле - это север современной Украины - и ничего более, потому этнически наследниками Русинов - а не Русских могут называтся только Украинцы. Во время национального осознания в Империи - для московитов нашлось название Великороссы(искуственное, но московиты такими называтся, похоже уже не хотели - ну и италянцы римлянами тоже называтся не спешат - нормально).
