Hi for the BB stone said it halves the power to the y axis? Will this make the machine literally lose half the motor power in the y all the time or just when using the a axis?
Just when using the Y axis. This allows you to home and jog in all axis when rotary is in use. When not in use, just turn off the splitter box and y rails return to full power!
Hi folks, what about safety features, since it is a rotary machine, if the material we are working broke or a bit is broken, does the machine stops?
The machine will not know if a bit brakes. not sure any cnc brand with a rotary would...

I have the journeyman, does the buildbotics processor operate the file type already allowed or do you need to upgrade the processor?
You need to use a rotary post processor.
