The hard yards are done, the novel is with the publisher, and it’s time to start promotion. Biteable has developed a template for creating book trailers in a snap and today we’ll show you how to edit a book trailer for an old favorite - Harry Potter.
We know people are more likely to read a book if they’ve seen advertising for it. When you come to make your book trailer, a lot of skills you’ll use are related to writing itself.
Remember to be clear and create an intriguing and, importantly, concise summary. Build atmosphere with color, music, and movement, to show the reader what kind of mood your book is. Finally, now is the time to show off any visuals you have for your novel. Doodles of characters, mood boards, and maps are all about to shine alongside the pièce de résistance - the cover art.

I stopped listening at 1:00 because of the background music.

I'm retired and I'm writing screen play projects for Competition. I do my normal day. Stay up late watching junk on here then go to bed. Sometime around 3:00am is my time to write. My mind clears out, I'm still dead tired but I can do it uninterrupted. I see your point.. That music is for 11:00am..

@@user-zd1jh5zz9n I'm a writer, too. My best writing was done in the dead of the night. I think it's the stillness.

@@user-sw2lv3zp6o I'd rather be tired then have my mind drifting all over the place from the day's activities..

Too bad about the background music. Very distracting and hard to hear your voice. Stopped listening after 2 minutes.
