    Thanks. What is the formula that shows the relationship of the radius r of the circle that you drew to the length L of one of the sides of your equilateral triangle. Thanks.

      Nice question.
      However,I can't categorically say the relationship.
      But if you're given the length of the sides of the triangle, you can apply this method by drawing the triangle first before inserting the circle.
      If only the radius or diameter of the circle is given and you're to circumscribe a triangle, you'll draw the circle first.
      I hope this answers your question.

    If the circle touches all sides, but the circle emerges from the triangle, is it acceptable or not?

      I guess you mean if the circle crosses an of the sides if the triangle...
      If such happens, that means there's an error in the construction? The circle should extend beyond the sides of the triangle....
