Just SO cool! A whole bunch of issues to encounter. High 5 though. Just super cool docking. Like… YEAH! A tonne of stuff to think about .. YEAH! Not even a sail boat! Or like horse back riding. Chuck it in the waste paper basket off the side walk? OH my GOD! Just so… YEAH! ( again) thanks honey, couldn’t of done it without you.. I’m like… be like…. POV?
Love to see yacht dockings - this was a good one with a good Captain at the helm. Interesting to see that Camo’s reputation preceded him. So glad he’s back on land for a bit.
We realized that after all this time we didn’t have a video of it so it was time!! And yes Camo is become world famous 😉 he is very glad to be on stable ground!!
Wow! That was so awesome watching your Dad the Captain dock the yacht. GreatJob Captain!!! What a beautiful spot - can’t wait till the next video. Also, all the fruit and veggies at the store looked amazing. PeaceAndLove Lori
Oh the food was amazing and he is so calm and collected while docking it’s impressive especially for what a massive boat he is maneuvering! Have a beautiful week :)
Ok, now to your Vid. Awww, Camo! Statues are awesome. Nice looking Yachts entering Birth. Good job docking. Nice to have Bow/Stern Thrusters. I don't have such luxury on this 60 footer, but, I do just fine, slowly and with alot of patience. Thanks for the Adventure!!!
Another great video to watch of you travels. I love the Bahamas scenery and hope some day to travel there from Florida. Safe Travels and excited for the next video!
Great vid as usual. I was wondering if you could do a video on the process of switching between battery power, generator and shore power a little more in depth. Maybe cover what you shut off and maybe how long you can run on battery, do you have to run generators while underway etc.
So true!! I’ve actually said to Tj that shadow would have been a good name for him since he is black and is always just a step behind (or ahead) of us 💕
Excellent job of docking I'm still waiting on the report did the rain wash the salt spray off or did you get more salt spray added after the storm or during the storm ? My first thought when you said you hoped it rained hard enough to wash the salt spray off of that 0000
Ahh whoops yes we did forgot to follow up on that! Generally yes it did especially on the top half of the boat. It did blast the salt off of the rest of the boat but thanks to the big waves we had some salt spray back on the boat so still some cleaning to do, but it helped a lot and made the boat washing much easier!!
It is a metal plate of sorts that drops down into the water on a rope that helps to reduce the rock of the boat at anchor. You can see that we have it out in episodes 39-41
Yes it definitely helps as long as it’s nothing too major. At Nassau it was huge surgy waves and it didn’t help enough there I wanted off the boat haha
Hope you guys are watching the Blue Origin ready to launch at 9am. Suggest that your Dad strap a rocket to the Stern and see how long it takes to across the Atlantic, maybe only take 30 minutes..LOL.
It is true, it is the way to enter a port, respectfully for all others. Performing the maneuvers slowly and safely for everyone shows that there is a captain on board controlling everything. Keep enjoying live, and we from the screen ... You can see that Cano is gaining prominence, he is already famous on land, at any moment he has to sign autographs +421
We rocked and rolled for 3 days straight and got essentially no sleep and had doors slamming in the middle of the night so yes you are correct we were not in the best of spirits
Why do you americans make such a big fuss about docking??? Suspense music as if this is so difficult. For one there is no wind, secondly you have bow and stern thrusters, and thirdly a crew for and aft. You should visit Holland for once, travel around for a bit on a rental yacht and experience how to dock succesfully very very fast. I am handling a 14 metre one engine motor yacht with only bowthrusters all by my self. This fuss about docking is way over the top!
And YEAH again.. cool. Good job!

Nice job docking Mike...you definitely know your boat.....
He does a great job of docking it there is no denying it!
Great video coming down the fairway and docking.
Thanks! Tried to get a few angles of the approach and maneuvering
Well done Capt! Docking can get hairy quick!
Yes it can! Thankfully he does an amazing job docking with such calmness
Very nice video. Can't wait getting back on the water.
So glad you enjoyed it and we are enjoying land for a little while :)
I love how calm Captain Mike is! You guys rock!
He is so calm while docking, it’s commendable. Much better him than me (Natalie)
Beautiful underwater shots. I really enjoy watching your videos.
I’m so glad you do 🥰 and yes how cool were those underwater sculptures!!
Like a BOSS Mike.. Great Job.
He absolutely crushes the docking of this beast

We love having you along for the journey! Glad you enjoyed the episode :)
Nice camera coverage of the docking.
Thanks! We try to get lots of angles to give a good perspective of what’s going on :)
The Docking was nice filmed and also the music. Nice cut between cameras 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! We tried to get a few angles so that you had the full experience!
OMG........the fact that the dock master asked about Shadow (meaning Camo) tells me he is becoming VERY famous!!
Wasn’t that awesome! Made me smile, everyone loves Camo 🥰
Your dad is so cool
Yes he is a agree!

We’re glad you enjoyed it!!
Ok so I’m dying to know where y’all are headed on your next big trip since you are headed back towards Florida! You are lucky your dad seems so nice!
Stay tuned you’ll find out in a few weeks!!
Great vid as usual. I was wondering if you could do a video on the process of switching between battery power, generator and shore power a little more in depth. Maybe cover what you shut off and maybe how long you can run on battery, do you have to run generators while underway etc.
To be honest, Camo IS your shadow, everywhere you go. 😁
So true!! I’ve actually said to Tj that shadow would have been a good name for him since he is black and is always just a step behind (or ahead) of us 💕
Love, the dock master asks about your dog,"Shadow" he meant Camo.

I love this sailing stuff, I'm so jealous, and that's a bad thing to be, but it's just fantastic.
What’s a flopper stopper?

@@adventures cool! I get motion sickness and I’ve never been on a yacht but that must be a big help! 🤢
@@adventures by the way I still don’t what’s next for you four! Lol cliff hanger!

Looks pretty awesome! When did they put in those statues? they look kind of clean.. do they clean them off at times maybe?
Do you tip the dock hands
Lekker man lekker
Why bow in? Seems like stern in would have eliminated the anchor hanging over the dock.

did you sell the boat? I see encore under contract on boat trader. I am sad now
Details to come in the episode today and then more info next week!
I watch a ton of sailing and cruising channel, and if you guys were on rotten tomatoes, I'd give you guys a fresh score.
Oh heck yeah thanks, I’m glad you have been enjoying the channel!!
👍👍
Thanks for watching!!
I sensed a kind of "weariness" in this vid? Maybe I'm wrong.....
We rocked and rolled for 3 days straight and got essentially no sleep and had doors slamming in the middle of the night so yes you are correct we were not in the best of spirits
@@adventures perfectly understandable!...
It was rough and we were very happy to get to solid ground lol
🙄🤪
