Great feature mate. I might have left it too late for an explore myself but there were some interesting facts presented here that I was previously unaware of. 'Last Train' was one of my favourite TV shows at the time
There was a footbridge from Piccadilly station to Mayfield. Looking through Manchester city council archive website and enter London road I found some very interesting photos of the station going back many years. It was at first called Store Street Station because that is where the original station entrance was and the entrance is still there a be it blocked up under the railway arch, the exit to it was out side the station above now the road going up to the station.
@@trainman86trainstramsandmore Yes Store Street then changed to London Road then Piccadilly. The original station front was a stone structure and demolished in the 1960's and rebuilt as seen to day. If you look on line there are some old interesting maps showing at street level some railway tracks which went under the station and I think there was a lift to raise the goods wagon up to the station.

I knew about the footbridge, never knew about the former name though! Thanks for that

I can remember the scenes from Prime Suspect where the drug dealer's dogs kill a rival dealer in Mayfield.
You're using wedding music for trains ??? Try just atmosphere of city life.
I tried to find classical music. Also I have to use the stock music on Windows editor nothing else seems to be more fitting
