aye man I couldn’t agree more. I played basketball when I was a kid from 8-14 those were the worst years of my life. I got my head slammed into the dash of the car after practice if I ain’t play how he wanted me to, I got my basketball gear thrown out the window on the freeway multiple times, I would have to stay 3-4 hours after practice and he would throw my ass on the floor and kick the shit out of me, he would kick me down the stairs when we got home, he would tel me it’s disrespectful whenever I tried to defend myself and proceed to beat the shit out of me even more. I’m 20 now and I let bygones be bygones since I don’t got no energy to dwell on shit that happened in the past but yeah man I get this crazy PTSD whenever I hear some kid getting their ass whooped and for a while during high school whenever someone would raise their hands around me I would instinctually flinch and put my hands over my head.
