Negasonic was the most recent for me, just the ability to go in and take down hard skills and annoying nodes with no extra things is so fun. She don’t need to nuke or anything, she’s just good at what she does
I honestly really like Northstar, I don’t have him on my roster personally but I’m keen to give him a try just from watching this video. It doesn’t make sense to me when people say they don’t like Northstar because he’s a “speedster”
I already decided I was grinding for Northstar this week when I saw the deep dive (and reception of him) but you’ve made me confident in that decision with this video.

I remember in one of your livestreams, you’ve said that you don’t like playing Quicksilver because his animations feel clunky or something similar to that. So I’m actually curious on how you were to able to get used to playing Northstar and also wondering if you’ll make a gameplay showcase on Quicksilver, considering that he’s also a fantastic champion.
For some reason, Northstar’s animations just clicked with me more.
I’ll see if I can give Quicksilver another chance, I do have a duped 7*.
Is he really going to be used over Aegon Kate with Chavez synergy Stryfe or even Quick Silver if he could stay ramped fight to fight he'd be the best long form content champ but i just don't see a purpose for him in game 😢.

His damage ramping is so good, if he had persistent charges to save his ramp there would be no fights. You gotta be living life on easy mode to cry about that
You have a team of 5 champs for a reason, Kate + Chavez can take a lot, but the fights they can’t take, Northstar can take pretty well. Stryfe is pretty average in Necropolis in my opinion too. Aegon is one of the most expensive champs to use in Necropolis, he’s fast, but not cost efficient. Northstar can do fights quickly, and potentially solo a lot of them, so if you’re wanting a cost effective run, he could be very solid there.
If he could stay ramped, they would have had to make him weaker in the initial fights, meaning that could limit his uses elsewhere, I think they landed in a really good spot.
I would much rather have a Northstar then Aegon. Northstar shines in long content, but can be used elsewhere. Aegon will be used for necropolis style content, and then sit on the bench for three years. I don’t even see him used in incursions. Same reason why I rate kate over Aegon for Nerco. Imo your resources won’t be wasted investing in her because you’ll be able to use her everywhere. So long story short Northstar > Aegon

@@carameldrizzle3753 no problem! I’d post a clip with it, but you’re really better off saving the pause for your Prowess and Reverb. The pauses are too valuable imo.
@@BMcG Ohhh, I meant use Iceman with the Northstar synergy cuz the synergy that Northstar gives Iceman seems like Iceman can put frostbite passives more consistently but I wouldn’t know for sure 🤷🏻♂️ but still it’s nice to know that for Northstar the synergy doesn’t work well for him, for Iceman I think it might tho

Yeah but not everyone will have them and even so Aegon will probably still be an option as well as Kate with Chavez synergy. 😊

Kate is very good for both short and long form content, why can't Northstar be designed the same way.
It is ironic that DLL, who designed Kate said that he doesn't need to be good for fights less than 60s, when she absolutely destroys in bgs, war, quests and even in necropolis kind content.

@@Ankitchahar7 we all know that herc is not a good option for Herc, I only said that because BMCG was so happy that Northstar could take the whole phase at once, while herc can do the same at R4...also Northstar is like a jack of all trades, too slow for short fights and even when you build up on long fights the payoff isnt that huge, go watch MSD's video on it

Well yeah, that’s because Northstar is faster.
I soloed Necropolis Odin (6,402,000 HP) in 6;10 min with Adam.
I soloed Necropolis Hit-Monkey (7,969,000 HP) in 5;22 with Northstar.
Both were 7r2 btw.
After playing him more, I wish his sig was better. The physical resistance and reduced block penetration is like "I guess we HAVE to give him a sig, don't we?" If they didn't want to increase his personal damage, it could have been something for his synergies or teammates or anti-root/anti-trap or something.
I personally love the sig. I wish mine was Max Sig. 6000 Physical Resistance is HUGE, reducing block pen and also making it to where all incoming hits cannot be critical, it’s a REALLY good sig for increasing his survivability.
@@BMcG Given the option, I'd rather have a more useful sig and keep focusing on not getting hit. 😆
