This speech is what started my devotion to BTS. I saw it while watching CNN. I was blown away. I’m a 57yr old mom of a teen. I was stunned to hear this young man speak so wisely & truthfully. He spoke to my own heart & to my parent heart that has faced my own challenges & seen the challenges our youth face today. Such maturity & intelligence in a 24yr old is remarkable. Then I discovered how truly remarkable all the members of BTS truly are & it’s been pure dedication ever since. Love BTS for all they have given to the world to help us all heal no matter who we are or where we are from. 💜😌
Bang pd said that he has never found a young man like namjoon who has this kind of mind and awareness. That's the beginning of how bang pd contacted namjoon who was an underground rapper at that time and decided to make BTS. He felt that he should share namjoon's ability to the world. That's why they said that BTS is build around RM. Thus, BTS they are today💜 7 very different personalities and talents but the same passion 😊 BTS aren't BTS without 7 of them. I wish all the best for your family too💜💜
RM is the reason I started to love myself, I’m so blessed that I Stan the right group which is BTS, I loved them so much. And I love listening to your life stories, is very relatable, and thank you for sharing your true stories,I purple you guys💜💜💜💜💜
"To me BTS means way more than music"........YES I agree 💯. It's crazy that artists can have that kind of effect on us, but at the same time it's pretty amazing, and a positive effect at that. Not just any artist can do that. These guys are special💜
RM is a poet from the start. One major reason why I became an army is because they are artists who uses their platform to good use. Not all artists take that responsibility and actually do something about it. 💜💜💜
One of the most impressive things about this speech is that it was in ENGLISH! Not only did he speak in front of world leaders, but he did it in a second language and was so eloquent! If you watch the behind the scenes of this you will see how nervous he was,but it didn't show.
In the case of your daughter Joey, she shy, well this actually relate to Jin's story in the beginning of their debut back in the 2013. Jin was actually a very shy person. He, at tht time, probly th mmbr who still lack in everything, dance, sing n confident compared to other mmbrs bcuz he didnt has any background in it. He once even cried behind stage right after performance bcuz his pants fall during performance. Luckly ofcuz the other mmbrs comforted him. But after through years you can see how he changed now. He is now probly the most confident mmbr in BTS. RM said whenever they meet new people Jin always knows how to break the ice. He knows how to make funny gestures and jokes (lame dad jokes tho lol) tht makes the atmosphere light n bright. Once RM asked why he is now change and Jin said tht he realize tht he is happy when seeing other people happy, so he decided to make people happy in order for him to be happy. And I think by being happy makes him more confidence too, beside he also balanced tht with more hardwork for his singing and dancing. Suga even once said tht the most hardworkin mmbr is Jin. He even heard him singing in his sleep bcuz he had been practicin so hard by himself til late night. And now, he is super improved in every aspecs. For Joey, I hope she will find her true source of happines tht will bring her confidence. She will always need both of you to find tht. find out wht makes her smile the brighthest and dont give up to help her and pursuing her dream n happiness. I wish th best for you both and your two lil angels/family. Sorry for my bad english:)
The interesting fact is that right after this speech ARMYs trended #SpeakYourself with their stories, telling their real names, their struggles and how BTS helped them to start loving themselves. It was a very emotional day, as I remember
There's a lot of things in this video people probably don't realize! When Namjoon said that there were times he just wanted to quit, it wasn't just a fleeting thought - it's a feeling that's been nagging him and the other members since their debut. I don't know if you watched their documentary movie, Burn the Stage (Movie not RUclips series of the same name), but Suga talked about it as well. Not to mention their MAMA 2018 acceptance speech. Another thing is that RM really put an emphasis on separating his persona, RM, from himself (Namjoon). He's really self aware and philosophical. He does a lot of the lyric writing and composing (such as Spring Day and Serendipity). He actually wrote about 80%-90% of the lyrics in their most recent album! I suggest you checkout Spine Breaker + Explained by a Korean, Baepsae + Explained by Korean, and Tomorrow!
Namjoon is a bright light in this dreary world. He is a remarkable person and his charisma goes beyond being in a musical group... He is something special.
That UN speech made me decide to stan BTS and use them, their music and their character, to slowly cure my anxiety and depression. I want you to know that WE STAN THE RIGHT GROUP. 💜💜💜
I know you guys have been listening to their music and are probably aware that they discuss a lot of different issues in their lyrics. What Josh says at 10:50 made me think about the song "Spinebreaker" if you haven't heard it. Please do listen to it and then watch the explained video (spinebreaker explained by a korean) by DKDKTV. They're singing about just that!
The way he carries himself, his words of wisdom and his humbleness is like no other....I admire him so so much and the way he looks at or sees life is so beautiful, my favorite line he said “These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I was, who I am, and who I hope to become. “
RM is such a deep person his words are always deep he such a role model, bts is such a role model and an inspiration. Because of them i can finally overcomed my depression i love them so much! Thank u for this reaction
Namjoon just wrote a message to us recently a letter about how he was feeling right now. He always so honest and deep with his words. Simply leaves me saying wow he is one of a kind. His words reaches our heart so deeply and makes you think and want to be a better person yourself. Your daughter sounds like such a beautiful girl she's going little by little hopefully she'll be able to be out of her shell more. It was nice hearing your stories to simply we should all try to live our lives with full hearts.
In a way you kinda think what life has been for them and to celebrities who get famous at a younger age. A grown man/woman, whose mental age of a teenager. It's really tough and you can lose yourself. That's why RM's speech got more fans and even caught the attention of people you'd never expect of. Murray Stein (author of Map of the Soul) and other members of Jungian society read his speech and were impressed for someone to have that self awareness and sensibility that is matured for his age. Esp the way he acknowledge his Persona "RM of BTS" and kim namjoon his real identity. I think that part really got me bec a lot of ppl do get lost in their persona (esp with social media being part of our lives already) and considering his position it can happen. He knows he will and definitely will make mistakes as he grow older. And the more you recognize your faults, the more you learn more about yourself and grow. Hence loving yourself more and being a better person in society.
Its very inspiring. And I'm very proud of them, all of the hates all of the struggles that they've been through their still standing and prove themselves. Im so proud to be an army since the day one... We army should pay them back towin BTS in any award shows, because thats the only way how to make them happy, and repay them for their very hard working artists. BTS is such an inspiration, they taught us how to love ourselves and how to overcome all the problems that we had in daily life... #armyForever
Thanks for sharing your family's personal story! I think this society places too much emphasis on leadership, strong personality, extroversion, outspoken, etc. But it's okay to be an introvert, maybe a little insecure, anxious, or sensitive; these are good qualities needed in people to take care of others, and to understand other's opinions/thoughts instead of always being self-centered. Loving oneself is a journey, a process not easy to achieve; not everyone can truly achieve this end result, and it's okay. I think as parents, we could always embrace who our children's true personality, whether they're introvert or extrovert, as long as they're being themselves and don't feel judged, they'll become a better person in the future. Best of luck to your family
I watched this live at 2am through a livestream and I was crying so hard as soon as Namjoon (RM) introduced himself :(( it was such a surreal, historical and proud moment for BTS & ARMY. BTS is not just a boy group, they're a revolution.
Bts really helped me to start all over again after this world break me to pieces I'm who I'm now is because of them that's why i will support them for ever
FYI imif you dont know "BTS IS THE NEW AMBASSADORS OF THE UNICEFF" through UNICEFF BTS helping all the childrens across the world. And BTS donating a million of dollars in uniceff just for the childrens around the worlds.
BTS really reach out to people and like you said one can relate to them. It's like even though I live so far away from them, I still feel so close to them, afterall music truly transcends language and any other barriers . Their music attracted me at first but what me made stay, be an ARMY and join this journey on exploring yourself and self-love is BTS and the fandom. ARMY are the best fandom ever. I love hearing your thoughts! Please react to Jungkook is and will always be bangtan's baby next! Also, I purple you! ^w^
They know the world is watching their every move and they actively accept their responsibility of being role models. ❤️💕I love your reactions and your warm wonderful family.
BTS helps, saves and suppprts millions of ARMYs thru their music. they make us happy or put smiles on our face wahenever we listen to them or see or watch them. RM was voted the best leader in KPop for 2 years in a row now. he's a genius when it comes to music. he's a very smart person. he's the perfect leader. he's an awesome hyung to ARMYs. his UN speech is now being used in universities in Korea as a guide students. BTS are such powerful people and Korea is very fortunate to have them and we are very lucky to have known them as well. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS! let us all LOVE OURSELVES. SPEAK and let us hear our own VOICES. kudos!
Aww, they are both so beautiful!!! Sidenote: You can't shield them from everything, but just know your child well enough to plan ahead: Never build up expectations based on your own experiences; bring along solid family friends/cousins/neighbors when possible to buffer, be prepared to distract or leave (under the guise of wanting to have more fun somewhere else), and then actually have a 2nd place to go and have fun to soften the blow of any disappointments.
Loved your reaction. I was so shy as a child that l would hide behind my mothers skirt all the time. In school l just cried and looked down most of the day ,and never spoke up at all. My grades were average because l was so full of anxiety and fear. This went on until l was about 14 , when a teacher took me aside and made me stand at the back of the Library and read aloud a book. I literally had to shout the words to her. By the end of a week l found my voice. The teacher gently but firmly asked more of me in class and l found myself little by little from that time on. School was always a challenge for me (mainly the kids ) but l started to believe in myself and my grades went up and l finished school much more positively. I just wish my shyness was addressed in grade 1 so that l could have had a good school life experience and reach my potential. Your daughter will probably always be a quiet type of person but please try to unlock her fears, because there is a beautiful, intelligent and kind person waiting to have a chance to be who they are supposed to be. She is reaching out to you, she found BTS and something they were doing spoke to her. Love you guys Good Luck. To Love Yourself is the key. P.S. Thank you Mrs Schulz for taking the time to help, when everyone else looked away. You changed my life and l will always be thankful to you.
Thanks so much for sharing your story with me and im so happy you found your voice and you really left and imprint on me with those words. Ill keep watching her shine and im glad we all have BTS to help. My second grade teacher was Mrs.Schultz and she is who helped me :)
Thank you for your reaction. Nam-Joon (RM) worked so very hard for this speech, spending so much time writing it and then trying to memorize it as much as possible to keep focus and do a good job, and the members all supported him and backed him up so well. There is an English-sub'd version of the behind the scenes of them preparing (which by the way they were on tour when this happened so they had to take a short flight between concerts to do this speech)..... so amazing. so great. I am so sorry for your worry and concern for your daughter. Yoongi (Suga) also went through social anxiety starting at about 18. Some of his songs specifically address where he was at that time and have been a huge help to fans all over (as have all of their songs)..... If you want to see that (lyric video) it is called The Last. It is pretty deep. My daughter is 20 now, and she reminds me of Yoongi is some ways.... When she was younger, she struggled with her perception of people around her and what they thought about her and how they acted and had social anxiety when she was around larger groups or had to do something in front of people. She worked her way through most of that as she got older. I wish I'd had these amazing guys and their music earlier in her life as she is still struggling a little here and there but overall has found friends and self-confidence and doing well right now.... She went with me to the movie release of their Love Yourself Seoul concert and loved it so much. I hope you find comfort in these guys and confidence to know that your are good and loving parents, and love and music can heal so many wounds. Best of luck. Thank you again for sharing.
Loved this. As a parent our childs hurt is magnified for us. As you love yourselves and accept who you are, you teach her to do the same. You guys are officially my favorite reactors. I was drinking coffee this morning watching you and I realized I look for you guys first thing when I wake up. Big finger hearts to you both.
Im glad you look forward to the videos as much as we look forward to putting them out. We love seeing people returning to the comment section and are starting to recognize profile pics and names and we get really excited.
Yeah, I don't know why I still get filled up watching this but do. I was so proud of RM not being his first language and not speaking fluently with other members he did so good. Why don't you let her watch the speech. Like I said before it's their sincere personality and warmth that got me.
The thing about your daughter, i was the same exact way when i was her age where i never wanted to leave my moms side in public places and being around people made me so nervous. To this day i still feel a lot like that and my shyness has developed into social anxiety but i wanted to let you know that it will get easier for her to open up and talk to people it just takes a bit and its scary, especially at her age. But i think the way you guys deal with it is really good by not pushing her too far out of her comfort zone because slowly she will open up, it just takes time. And also i think her finding bts at her age is really good for her so she can grow up with these positive messages from them because i didn't have that when i was her age and if i did i think it would have helped a lot.
This is why BTS isn’t just a boy group they are inspirations! and so different from any other Artist I know since they use their platform to send such positive messages...this reminds me of hate crime and how BTS message as “basic” as some people may think their message is so much more! this is a message that people know but don’t stop to think about and actually act on and that’s why I appreciate and love BTS that they are tackling this notion on every age group where loving messages and making a space where the people who have no voice have a voice is such a great way to improve ourselves and the world around us:)
I'm 22 yo now, but from what you said about your daughter I can actually relate to her. Unfortunately my parents never understood what I was going through since a little kid, but you guys do, and that is a huuge step in helping your daughter, I'm sure you'll guys will get to boost her self confidence and help her deal with anxiety and teach her to love herself ^^ you all seem like amazing people already 💜💜💜 Wish you all the best!~
Yay, you reacted to their speech at the UN. It's what made me curious about BTS and I was so impressed. English is not Namjoon's first language, but for him to write this meaningful speech and to deliver it in this way (where he put pauses, emphasize etc) in front of a room of world leaders... just wow. He had that whole room hanging on every word he said. I read somewhere, not sure if it's true, that the speakers were allotted 3 to 5 minutes. He went way over that time, but there was absolutely no one in that room trying to cut him off and he took his sweet time for the perfect delivery of his words. Namjoon is a poet and intellectual. Him writing a lot of BTS's lyrics makes it stand out. And he's just 1 of the 7 super talented members, who each bring their own strengths to make this legendary group BTS.
Awww...my niece is the same as your daughter Zoe. She is so shy, she'd stay by herself in a room full of people. She's also afraid of being judged and it's really hard to watch. But when she finally got comfortable with some of her friends, she came out of her shell, even though it's not a total change, she made small steps to having fun with her friends and gaining confidence. I'm sure Zoe'll come out of her shell too once she gets comfortable with some of her friends. But as parents, it'll always be a constant worry to make sure your kids are happy and healthy. So, take care of yourselves too, so you can take care of them. Fighting!!!
I was waiting for this reaction!!! Thank you so much! Namjoon's words weigh a lot... He doesn't treat you like a fan, he treats you like an individual, this makes you wanna listen to him! He doesn't mess with his words cuz he knows there are many ppl who look upto him.. Even ppl older than him look upto him.. And he takes this responsibility very seriously! I'm as old as he is, but i swear i always get inspired by him.. I have started to follow my dreams because of him! This speech means a lot to me!
Zoe is very blessed to have parents who're teaching her how to love herself and not be like someone else. Most of us growing up trying to be someone else, and that is exhausting. I dont know why we always need to be accepted by "certain groups" who don't care about us, and whom we don't even like. Let's love myself love yourself.
I struggle daily to love myself. Ive been in the lowest lows and have scared myself with how low I go. I see my 19 year old daughter struggling with this as well. I was already a fan of BTS, but when Epiphany came out, I broke down and cried. When I forget...I go there...to that song, to their message...and it helps me to remember to love myself. I dont know if I ever truly will, but I'm sure as heck going to try.
As mother myself, i can understand how you guys feel.. don’t worry, Zoe is beautiful.. you’re lucky to have her.. and you guys gonna be a good parents, trust me!
I love rm i really really love rm and the way he thinks, the way he speaks. He's just such a high quality person yk? Idk how to explain it I just.. Love him so much. He and Yoongi are my main role models rn. I see myself so much in them, i relate to them so much, and when I grow up I want to be like them. Wise and hardworking.
I can clearly remember how I cried when I woke up in the morning and watched his speech. Literally, he always like that, reaching out to ppl to help them with their inner struggles. Its so moving. And thank you for sharing your story and for the reaction😊
I'm not a person who comments much, I'm more of a listener. I've been watching you since your first reaction to BTS, and your journey to becoming an Army. So nice to see others be touched by the true sincerity and humility that BTS exude. RM's words are so powerful, please never apologize for feeling what every true Army feels. Showing your emotions ,Sharing your stories and letting us see the impact they are bringing to your lives helps others too. I am proud to be an Army, though I experience criticism often. A lot of people judge before they take the time to understand. I love their music, their performances and enthusiasm, but as you and every Army have come to realize 0T7 are so much more. Through their struggles and hardships they have shown us the true meaning of love and loyalty. That's it's ok to be afraid and unsure as long as you keep true to yourself and give yourself a chance. It's not the fact they are "perfect" but the fact they show us their flaws and fears and tell us we matter, that our love and loyalty gives them strength, in return they help us see that in ourselves. Together we lift each other up. BTS+Army=family. They accomplish what so many world leaders fall short of. They're bringing people from every walk of life, every culture, every color, every age and identity together. Through them and with them the world becomes a better place. I 💜 you and all Armys.
Before kpop, I was a shy, unconfident girl who came from a small town. Through kpop I started making different friends from all over the country, and even from abroad. It's a nice feeling that you get to share your love and passion for something with other people. I started getting confident, I began showing my true self, my confidence got boasted. Now, I'm a Manager in a financial company. I even gets invited in diff events to deliver speeches. Kpop is more than a music genre for me, it changed my life for the better. Hope it will do the same for your daughter.
Do listen to RM's mono playlist as well (it'd be great if you can react) Every song has such a deep meaning and great lyrics. He didn't go hard in that instead poured all of his emotions that we all can relate to. "Mono" Playlist is a masterpiece Link 👇 ruclips.net/p/PLkPd7fD7H9-5CFAALHPiYpJoLtY__INUN
I am not a parent yet but it makes me feel more proud that i stan BTS everytime I see reactions like this. Some artists just wanted to earn money unlike BTS they wanted to spread possitivity and they wanted to helped other people to overcome their anxiety and depression and hardships through the lyrics of their music. I just want you guys to react to these lyric videos of BTS's song and I know you will relate to it 1. So what 2. Love yourself 3. Magic shop 4.Epiphany 5. 2,3,
After all this time I’m still crying 😭 his speech still hits like it’s the first time!! 💜🤘 I was changed too!! Thanks BTS and fellow Army’s 💜🤘 from 2015-♾
Lord knows parents will always make mistakes, but coming from someone with truly awful family, just being there for Zoe makes a bigger difference than you might think now. Please continue to nurture her softness and shyness, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is meant to be outgoing or life of the party and that's perfectly okay too. Zoe sounds like a lovely, sweet sensitive girl who will bring a lot of joy and love to her friends and loved ones as she continues to grow up. It'll get better and easier for everyone as time passes, don't worry 💜
I love you guys and thank you for doing this reaction 💜 don’t listen to anyone who gives you hate and just keep doing what you guys do best....being great parents and lovely people 💕
My friend's second daughter was like Zoe, very shy, introverted. I remember our first meets at their house whenever she step-out their room & get surprised that her parents got guests in their living room she will suddenly froze, not moving at all like statue (seems like she doesnt know what to do) until her father will pick her up and she don't really talk to us. But since my friends (her parents) are active in our ministry, they always brought them along until she get used to people. Now, she's a young lady & even volunteer to lead activities that they have in school & in church. I believe that Zoe will overcome it in time having both of you beside her. Just keep on feeding her positivity, good things/vibes & strong values that she will carry as she grow & she will share to everyone that she will meet. *bigwarmhugs*
I was always shy, introverted and anxious growing up.. kind of antisocial even after high school. Similar to how your daughter is but I don't think it was as extreme as what she's experiencing. I didn't learn how to socialize and never went to school dances or those big celebratory events in high school and always tried to avoid extracurricular activities. Never dated in high school either. I couldn't hang out in any clique 'cause I felt like I couldn't fit into any group and would much rather hang out with just one or two other people. I am not as shy now and learned to be more social when I need to be.. but I am still always introverted. I get drained really easily from being around people especially crowds. Hopefully your daughter will grow up to learn to love herself more and feel more confident.. It's okay if she is shy and doesn't want to socialize much as long as she learns to love herself and to embrace herself like RM wants us to and to find her happiness and joy in life. She's certainly very lucky to have you two as parents and role models.
Recently I seen something on Twitter that I wasn’t aware of at the time of watching this video but someone said that RM went under heart surgery when he was fifteen years old and only had a 30% survival rate which is why he said what he said about his heart stopping when he was around nine or ten. My love for this man continues to grow more and more. You picked a good bias.
I have heard this speech'n' number of times..i still tear up.It truly hits the heart.I forwarded this to my kids who are adults now so that they can get it too..i think he explained it much better than i ever could have.
Thank you so much for reacting to this. You both are beautiful people. Thank you for getting to know BTS and for seeing them for more than just their music, but for who they are. We Army and BTS love y’all 💜
BTS's speech, lyrics always make me think alot & think more deeper regarding "human life".. They really do have a very positive thought to affected other people. Thank you BTS.
As a mom of teenagers and one of them was bullied a lot few years back, I have to tell you my thoughts. Just be there for her. Like every evening, ask how her day has been, is there anything she wants to share with you. Tell her that you love her, tell her that if there is anything that is troubling her she can allways tell you, that you will listen to her and wont be mad what ever she tells you. It should be obvious to children that they can talk to their parents but sometimes its not, they need to hear it. They may not want to but if they have real problem, hopefully they then can come to you more easily. And when they tell their problem, even if it would be small from our parents point of view, listen to it and respond to it. Show that you heard her problem and think it matters, that it is real and its not nothing. With my girl it often helped that we could discuss about the situation, she could tell me what had happened and heard from me that what the others did was wrong that it was not normal. We often talked about how the children that were bullying her might have some issues in themselves, they might have a bad day, they might have a rough life that they were transfering to her because they were irritated that she had it so good. We went to school few times and talked in a meeting with the principal and the bullys parents and the bullyes but what helped the most was that my girl had a good back up system in home and few good friends. Be there for our kids is the most we can do. My girl played the piano and it helped her a lot, like dancing can also do. First she did not want to perform any where, but she practised with family, performed in front of my parents, my sisters, then in fron of our neighbours and got confidence that she did good and slowly could do it in bigger stages also. But enough of my rant, sorry it was long. Much love to you and your family, see you in a next video!
Whenever I watch this speech it brings tears to my eyes. He’s speeches are always so deep and meaningful. I could listen to him talk all day. I find his mind to be so fascinating.
Their words really touch my soul. That encouragement helped me so much... yesterday's me, with my mistakes, is still me. BTS pulled me from a really dark place. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter struggles.. kids and school in general can be mean and hard, but you guys are so kind, im sure your daughter will grow up to be a confident girl with such good parents.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Finally!!!!!!! Happy for you guysssssss Our KINGS on the way to USA 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Happy for USarmys and pray for their safely and healthy Don't forget to vote them at BBMAs I purple you all 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Can I just say: you guys seem like such good parents, from other stuff too obviously, but especially this video. The fact that you care so much for your daughter and her possible anxiety issues etc. makes me really happy, coming from personal experience; not all parents are like that and many just ignore it and hope it just gets better by itself, or gets upset at the child for behaving abnormally. She's so lucky to have you guys there to support her and I hope she gets better soon, you guys will definetely help her get there!
I was waiting for you to react to this video for so long. I love your reactions and how you related your own situations to the video. Thank you for sharing your life story with us. You guys are such loving and genuine people.
Can I suggest some thing, just maybe this might help a little if not much.... in regards to Zoe Create a " family day meeting " ( but ofc you don't say as it is, just make or create a fun&free name for that special day/time ) In this meeting, parent won't be parent but " friends " Each be given a note book or some fun looking diary and everyone has to write how they are feeling on that day/or that week then followed by like/dislike, what make them happy/sad, etc lastly what have make them angry the most But remember to react calm and easy going like a friend would and after each all given the answer each have to tell why This is to help kids and even indirectly parent/s to understand each other better and getting to know deeper and also mainly to let your kids understand it is ok to have bad days/ certain emotion, just like everyone. Also teaching them to express themselves Make it as a fun time not something serious tho
I really wanna have parents like you guys who care for their children a lot. I also love how you can relate to their story cause I myself can relate too but my parents don't understand me and my parents, they keep saying that BTS is a bad influence to me but they really don't know what they have done to help me emotionally. I rely to their music a lot when problems come and watch their videos when I am sad. This speech hit me big time.
I am a 68 yrs old Army...my granddaughter is an introvert..she was teased and bullied all through school for being quiet and different..on top of that..she is ADHD with depression and anxiety..I basically raised her and we are close since her birth..she was in therapy and on meds for years..but I didn’t give up..I told her everyday how special she was..how loved she was..I spoke for her when she needed me too..I defended her when she needed me too..I took interest in what she was interested in..I didn’t try to force into being what she wasn’t..I was the shield she needed from the world until she was able to peek out sometimes...some people may say I sheltered her too much..but by doing so..she was able to face the world on her own terms..now at 19..she has graduated from high school and has a government job..not on meds ..nor seeing a therapist in years..dresses the way she likes..defends herself when she feels she needs..has turned out to be this strong young woman..still quiet and introverted because that is who she is..but a very happy and talented..self confident person..BTS put the loving yourself on another level for her..we both are ARMYs..went to their concert and met many other ARMYs..now she has friends from all over the world..sorry for the long comment..but Zoe will be alright with your love and support..encourage her to be herself and let her know how special she is...stand up for your child against bullying..that is what BTS stands for..teaching us acceptance and tolerance towards others..I love y’all and tell Zoe..she has a grandma that loves her from way down South..😊😊💜💜🤟🏽🤟🏽🎭🐊
I love this reaction from you! Most of Namjoon’s speech obviously had your attention! The screen was sized so I could read the captions (tho I’ve seen it several times!😬) and the speech/your mic volumes balanced so I could hear both. Thank you so much for Reacting to it! 😎
We GLAD that you &THE Murisan's family with #BTSARMY Now THANKYOU so much for this reaction staring my morning day with you guys by WACTHING together NAMJOON SPEECH... I never get tired listening to this over, over, over and over again for motivation and Reminded Us everyday That is okay to makes mistake bc no body no human are perfect LOVE YOURSELF by forgiving YOURSELF Speak yourself for your right "LOVE MYSELF " LOVE YOURSELF PEACE 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 (SUGA QUOTE OF THE DAY )
You guys seem such great parents! I'm sure that with your love and support, your beautiful daughter will be able to overcome her struggles!! All my love for you and your amazing family!
I 💜 you
RM is well-read and he’s smart. He has an IQ of 148. I too, start loving these boys when i saw their UN speech.
Wow that is awesome.💜💜💜
My daughter gets nervous around crowds but she is going to the concert. I’m proud of her. She relates to Suga a lot.
Thats great I hope you guys have a great time.
FRIENDLY REMINDER : YOU ARE DOING GREAT AS PARENTS, I'M PROUD, VERY PROUD
Sooooo true!!!
Thank you so much. 💜
Kookie Myheartu true. I'd pass out if i had to give speech like that.
One of the most impressive things about this speech is that it was in ENGLISH! Not only did he speak in front of world leaders, but he did it in a second language and was so eloquent! If you watch the behind the scenes of this you will see how nervous he was,but it didn't show.
RM's IQ is 148 and a genious is supose to be 140
a genius is supposed to be 140?? I didnt know that. My IQ is 138 but why do I feel so stupid?
@@ataraxia7949 if ur iq that high ur really smart, don't put yourself down
In the case of your daughter Joey, she shy, well this actually relate to Jin's story in the beginning of their debut back in the 2013.
Thanks so much. I appreciate you sharing about Jin and how he used to be. I will share stories like this with Zoey. 💜
Btw your English is great
@lintangtv, You explained that so beautifully .Thank you
There's a quote he said
"No one is born ugly
We just live in a
Judgemental Society"
Damn,this 25 year old
Man is the WISEST man
Alive.
Yes please! I LOVE this song and the meaning so much!
Yesss
Yes pleaseeeee!!! ❤❤❤
I was thought of spine breaker too when he said that
Yes please!!
Yes... He's RM... Our President...!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
so happy you watched this. the way RM speaks is so powerful! he really is a natural born leader.
Like I say everytime, everyone deserves a person like Namjoon in their life. I'm glad I found BTS and I became an ARMY. I'm so glad he exists. 💜
With parents like you , you daughter will be an amazing young woman ......she will get better just be there for her💜💜💜💜
Thanks so much we try to be her everything
The way he carries himself, his words of wisdom and his humbleness is like no other....I admire him so so much and the way he looks at or sees life is so beautiful, my favorite line he said
“These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I was, who I am, and who I hope to become. “
I'm so proud of him for delivering that speech perfectly even when he was so nervous his hands were trembling
This is why RM is my bias along with Jimin. :)
We don't need anymore toxic idols. Sure sex, violence and drugs sells but bts is proving that you can also be good in order to succeed.
Namjoon always knows his ways around words. Amazing 👏🏽❗️
TheLitterboxx i agree. I was stressed and exhausted being forced to be extrovert at work. I am an introvert, and i am accepting it now. Im happier.
So true.
@@rhumball Glad you're embracing your true personality now. Hope you continue to find joy in life and be strong ❤️

Thank you 💜
BTS helps, saves and suppprts millions of ARMYs thru their music. they make us happy or put smiles on our face wahenever we listen to them or see or watch them.
You are great parents... zoey will be okay, stay beside her, talk to her, she will eventually be braver.. ☺
💜
Thank you Im glad you opened up and what you shared. Im glad she found them to. And me and you both wish we found them sooner
RM... the heart of A•RM•Y... our natural born leader! #RMforPresident ☆
That's why we love BTS... and love 7 member without leave any member behind💗💗💗💗💗
Namjoonie is really smart his IQ is 148
You made me cry. You both just touch my heart. I'm so proud that you are apart of ARMY.
I STAN LEGENDS I STAN BTS!!! MY BABYS ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL SO PROUD!! THANKS FOR THIS GUYS!!
Do listen to RM's mono playlist as well (it'd be great if you can react)
Every song has such a deep meaning and great lyrics.
He didn't go hard in that instead poured all of his emotions that we all can relate to.

gosh this is so true
I am not a parent yet but it makes me feel more proud that i stan BTS everytime I see reactions like this. Some artists just wanted to earn money unlike BTS they wanted to spread possitivity and they wanted to helped other people to overcome their anxiety and depression and hardships through the lyrics of their music. I just want you guys to react to these lyric videos of BTS's song and I know you will relate to it
1. So what
2. Love yourself
3. Magic shop
4.Epiphany
5. 2,3,
After all this time I’m still crying 😭 his speech still hits like it’s the first time!!
I love how you always makes a reflection after every videos, love you guys.
Love this reaction. I see amazing, sincere, loving parents (&ARMYS) whenever I see your videos. Wishing the best for your family!
She's certainly very lucky to have you two as parents and role models.
what amazes me every day is that he’s doing things (in fact they are all doing things) and he’s only 24 years old
Omg there's so many bts songs and lyrics I would love yall to react to bc I kind of think the lyrics will connect to you in some way
Recently I seen something on Twitter that I wasn’t aware of at the time of watching this video but someone said that RM went under heart surgery when he was fifteen years old and only had a 30% survival rate which is why he said what he said about his heart stopping when he was around nine or ten.
Thank you BTS.
yes i agree he always speak to each of us. and that is what makes his lyrics so good and relatable
Please, watch behind the scene of UN speech with eng subs, it's really interesting video how RM and all members was preparing for UN..

She's so lucky to have you guys there to support her and I hope she gets better soon, you guys will definetely help her get there!
i don't know if you guys have already listened to RM's Reflection. But it really gets me everytime.

The speech was originally made by RM. So heart touching ❤ It always made me cry whenever i watch his speech. 💜
Can I suggest some thing, just maybe this might help a little if not much.... in regards to Zoe
Create a " family day meeting " ( but ofc you don't say as it is, just make or create a fun&free name for that special day/time )
In this meeting, parent won't be parent but " friends "
Each be given a note book or some fun looking diary and everyone has to write how they are feeling on that day/or that week then followed by like/dislike, what make them happy/sad, etc lastly what have make them angry the most
But remember to react calm and easy going like a friend would and after each all given the answer each have to tell why
This is to help kids and even indirectly parent/s to understand each other better and getting to know deeper and also mainly to let your kids understand it is ok to have bad days/ certain emotion, just like everyone. Also teaching them to express themselves
Make it as a fun time not something serious tho
Watching this gives me chill every time. 😭😭💜💜💜
I love this reaction from you! Most of Namjoon’s speech obviously had your attention!
The screen was sized so I could read the captions (tho I’ve seen it several times!😬) and the speech/your mic volumes balanced so I could hear both.
