The community is so content deprived we’re all going to pretend like valve cooked up a crazy update with 5 maps (some of which are not updated to the newest bugfixes) and some video settings + a couple MVP banner changes????
I think releasing a operation with this update + some new skins withit should be easy for valve. Maybe the first opration will have a major update like in cs go with the new hitboxes.
Yeah nah I've completely lost my trust to valve. We've been patiently waiting for such a long time just to get spit in the face again by valve. This billion dollar company is unable to provide an anti cheat as good as or even close to fkin Fortnite, the last operation ended over 2 years ago (Riptide, sep 21 - feb 22) and the tournament stickers are just copy&pasted with different colors and engravings (Rio 22 excluded) plus the upgradable coin being the same thing with a different city engraved each major just because the community liked Stockholm 21. Yes I know the upgrade from csgo to cs2 was a thing so I was waiting patiently and didn't even mind them releasing an unfinished upgrade and all the extra time that was needed for this billion dollar company to fix, finish and polish their game but giving us THIS after such a long wait is just immensely disrespectful. They are working on some new trash called deadlocked or sth while their money machine is literally dying and screaming for help (plus the TF2 drama) and with this lazy update, they made their intentions clear. It's hard to say these words but I think I might wanna start playing Valorant. Rip CSGO, it was a nice journey.
I tried to play valorant, to be honest, and from a total of 17-year counter-strike experience perspective, the game is really good, great servers, good performance, mostly no registration issue, community is a bit on the weird rainbow haired style and are really intense into it but way less toxic than cs so most of the time the game are more enjoyable, the characters abilities doesn't look bad and most of them are intuitive, maps are nice and the gun shooting feels good. On the bad side, it's just so weird to play it competitive after so many years on counter-strike... the characters' abilities, even if they are nice, aren't an automatic thinking in my mind like throwing a pop flash or a moly would be in cs.. always over relaying on pure aim skills, which lead to getting outplayed most of the time. If you can relearn this type of thing and successfully train your brain to stop playing valorant like it's counter-strike, then you should definitely make the switch as it's a much better game in general imo. The skins system is great, tho even if you can't trade them, they are way cheaper. You won't need to spend 15k on a knife, lol.

Good maps for an operation but there is no operation. I think the person who recommends which updates to release at Valve is the creator of Valorant. Otherwise there is no explanation for this, so much mystery for Workshop maps that no one played? It feels like everything they do, half finished, this time, maps but no operation. I would even like to recover the 5GB that these maps occupy on my disk, for some reason I didn't want them when I could play them in the Workshop, but hey, let's add some animations to the MVP and take up space on your disk, it will be funny (Said the creator of Valorant) . I have less desire to play than before the update.

nothing was better than this dogshit update , cuz this dogshit update completly broke my game (fps drops to 8/15 in any gunfight while it used to be above 150 all time prior to this shitty update from the incompetent valve) pls if u have any fix help

Now, they have released new maps cuz like they do before they release a new operation which we lastly played on new maps at last operation indeed. LOL. How a company would not want to ban the cheaters to make their players well enjoyed or get some new hype to get extra money throughout the whole adventure of new players? Underwhelming, but I'm now in a strange place with CS, after playing for so long, and getting disappointed with smurfs and cheaters ruining Premier.
