Or We watch your videos to the end because we own one of the old girls like you.. I've owned my Corrado sense 2000 and it needed a lot of work. I have enjoyed your video and your work . Excellent video.
Very similar to every time I work on mine, makes me question whether I actually like cars at all. Dreadnought customs is where I got my new bonnet sound proofing makes a world of difference in looks. Just changed my fuel filter, plugs and some fresh brake lines hoping to get it on the road this spring 🤙
Been watching this channel for a while now bud, and haven't yet subscribed until now! Love the VR6 and really look forward to aee what you do with it. I used to have a Dragon Green 1.8 16v Corrado sat on Borbet A's many, many years ago! I always wanted a VR6 Storm in the same blue as yours. Loving the A4 updates also! Currently own a 2011 Audi C6 A6 Avant 3.0tdi which has turned out to be the best daily whilst I'm.on the hunt for something else as a project. Keep up the hard work on the channel, you deserve more subs. 👍
Thank you for subbing mate appreciate that! I love the dragon green colour, wouldn't mind one myself! And I've heard the 3.0 TDI is really the engine to go for... One of the most reliable engines out there apparently, Thanks for the kind words 😄🤙
on the Mk4 top bearing. its the same thing. in 1998 the mk4 was introduced and they used the 1same part. .. its however mentioned with the Mk3. to orde.r instead of 357412249A ... if you REALLY want a upgrade. for this seeing it has a plastic collar... get the SKF (35110 T) (comes a s pair) one. thats the same one of the old Bonrath HD series of back in the late 90s. with there PU bushings (y)
Hi brad, for future reference if interested Halfords do a through socket set which makes sus work ten times easier, fuel filter is drivers side rear jack up wheel off two jubilee clips or those shite one use clamps and away you go, I don't have a vr but cant imagine its in a different location 👍👍
You might know already but try and avoid using the spherical end of an Allen key for undoing tight hex bolts, fine for winding them in/out but it increases the risk of rounding the hex 👍
Bro don't know if you'll see this but I've got a MK4 golf same colour as yours but pd version as I like the diesels! I wanna know where you got your bad boy bonnet done and how much it cost? I've managed find the R line bumpers
The top plates sat high because the old rubber bushes were worn, the new powerflex ones are stiff and holding there shape so sit flush. Were they the 10mm lowering bushes from powerflex ?
Do you run yours on unleaded or super unleaded , I put bp ultimate in mine and it seems to run a lot better , we’re the power flex bushings any better than the normal , they’re £60 and maybe not worth it
Bodge way? Pulling the piston up is a bodge way? I'd rather pull it up then spend an hour compressing the spring and trying to squeeze it and lined up properly 😂
I’d only recommend using autodoc if you are in no rush and when they have maximum discount applied (37% from what I’ve seen). They took 3 weeks to deliver My last order, didn’t matter though as the parts aren’t going to be fitted until the summer

Yeah that shock has had it mate, if it doesn't spring back it won't be absorbing any oscillations from the spring
Oh yeah, congratulations on the engagement 🙌
Thanks mate!

We all love a coolant leak 🙄😂 another crackin’ video man

Like all your videos man but corrado is pretty much my dream car so always buzzing for next video.
Thanks mate it's mine too, so much love for them 😁👌
@@BWTV defo mate got to be 1 of the nicest looking and sounding cars out there. Yours is also the best colour 👌

I'll have a look into that 👌
Love seeing the corrado! Love these videos
Cheers man!
Those Speedlines tho!
Hey dude, did you ever make a video of you replacing the top mounts on your golf? Mine have just shit the bed argh. Congrats on the news bud 😎
I changed the top mounts when I installed the coilovers, bit of a messy video as I wasn't as organized like the vids I make now tho 😂
Ngl the beeping sounded like a bomb lol
I know it's tense 😂

Awesome thanks for the tips man 👌
@@BWTV no worries my brother 🤘
You might know already but try and avoid using the spherical end of an Allen key for undoing tight hex bolts, fine for winding them in/out but it increases the risk of rounding the hex 👍
Yeah good point, thankfully it wasn't too tight! 👌

Love your vids mate keep them coming 😎👍
Okay but let’s talk about how awesome it sounds 😂
Tell me about it 😍
I can’t post images here, but if I could you’d have the image I sent you on insta the other day 😂
how much did your corrado cost?
will you turbo the Corrado in the future?
The top plates sat high because the old rubber bushes were worn, the new powerflex ones are stiff and holding there shape so sit flush.
Were they the 10mm lowering bushes from powerflex ?
They had nothing saying they were the 10mm lowering ones like I had in my golf
I wasn't sure weather the Corrado one's were like the Mk2 Golf and like your Mk4 with the 10mm lowering option, Obviously these are OEM replacement 👍
Them not coming back up is normal mate. Weitec being a sister company of kw the is how they were designed. All kw coilovers are the same
This is what I was thinking, being told 2 different things! I've emailed KW to find out 🤞
Amazing job
Thanks 🤙
Do you run yours on unleaded or super unleaded , I put bp ultimate in mine and it seems to run a lot better , we’re the power flex bushings any better than the normal , they’re £60 and maybe not worth it
I run it on 99 Ron, used to run my GTi on it and always helped but otherwise I'd choose shell v power 👌
It could be an idea to price up getting the coilovers rebuild if they are expensive coilovers
Good idea didn't think of this 👍
@@BWTV NO, Slap on Racelands! LOL
Haha unsure if the corrado would like them or not 😂 the Audi loves them though 😎
Weren’t Weitec previously KWs budget offering before they changed the name to ST?
Volkswagen Corrado.
Translated from the Latin term for, "You think everything is ok." 😂😂
Love it mate
Thank you 🤙
Coilovers are shot, if the dampers not extending its buggered, and get a proper set of spring compressors rather than doing it the bodge way.
Bodge way? Pulling the piston up is a bodge way? I'd rather pull it up then spend an hour compressing the spring and trying to squeeze it and lined up properly 😂
guess I'm a "True One" lmao Weheyyyy
Haha my guy 🤙
❤
Awesome video man but AUTODOC customer service is awful as is there delivery service 🤘🏻
Your struts /pistons are worn out
Your coilovers springs are in the wrong order
What do you mean wrong order?
@@BWTV 😜just pulling your leg 🦵
@@themastersofreel2reel321 well you definitely got me good 😂
@@BWTV where did you get the bonnet springs ? I see the link for MGR however I can’t get it to work
paint the calipers
What colour are you thinking?
@@BWTV yellow would look sick with the colour of the car
Dufffffffff
