Thank you for sharing your exciting and awesome HK adventures. So glad you are going for it and making the brave effort of seeing these places on your own. These memories will be with you (and us) forever. Could feel the energy of the Big Buddha right through the video. Big Hugs
KL you are a very lucky young lady! Enjoy your adventures and make the most of them live life without regrets!! Looking forward to your next adventure you decide to share.
I'm so happy you're making these HK vlogs. I feel like I kinda get to experience what it's like there through you. Also, you're super brave for going exploring by yourself!
Hahaha its fish balls!! They're SO GOOOOD! Local food!! Ive only been to the Tian Tian Buddha once when i was a kid...Still remember counting all the steps haha...great adventure!! more vlogsssss :D
I just did the March of Dimes yesterday (roughly four miles), so when you mentioned having to walk up all of those steps my legs starting hurting like crazy. >< But still, hopefully I can go see the statue someday, too!
The lighting looks amazing!! (: I love all of your adventures and I must say that you are rrally brave to venture out by yourself! Not sure if I can do that if I were in your shoes (:
This was awesome! I would do all the touristy things too. I'm scared of heights though so that ride up and over the water would have been terrifying for me.
KL girl ur such an inspiration to go to another country and travel by yourself without knowing the language. Luv these vlogs, all the best for future adventures in HK
What an incredible place! Just think - if you hadn't gone alone you might not have met all those interesting people or learned so much! When will you guys be able to find more permanent housing? And will you have a craft/sewing room at your new place?
You are so FUN to watch ;) I really wish you and your husband all the best in Hong Kong XXX ...btw, that haircut suits you perfectly- It is so chic and girly! ;)
the cows are actually the locals who live in the mountain before the Tian Tan area become a tourist place, they are really kind animals but they are also getting lesser and lesser becoz of the area become kinda urban nowadays, if you like natural places and love cows i would recommend you visit Mui Wo :) p.s. fish ball is gold!!!
the 'curry soy sauce' thing you were eating are fish balls! dont worry they are not fish testicles xD its like a mixture of fish meat and some spices and flour ;) its one of the most popular street food in HK ;D
I'm so jealous of your personality. I could never have made friends with anyone while standing in line! I would of been awkwardly shuffling through the line and sitting in the corner quietly. The coincidental Vietnamese people, though, that happens to me all the time.
6:52 those are curry fishballs :D well...cantonese speakers have weird accents when they speak english because cantonese has 9 tones and there're some words that cantonese speakers can't really pronoun :( but compare to the mandarin speakers, we speak english more fluently :)
ahhh miss you, KL! wish I was exploring HK!
