This place has been on my radar for a few years, best review ive seen so far. Time to venture out of tahoe a little more and experience something other than heavenly, kirkwood, NS and squaw.
I learned to ski on that mountain. So it will always be a special place for me. Washington State really doesn't have a major league ski resort. Crystal Mountain has to be the best in the State. Stevens is a solid number two. It is very busy on the weekend. 7th Heaven can be flat-out awesome after a good fresh snow first thing in the morning. But I don't care for it later in the day. The Double Diamond and the Southern Cross lift is the way to go. Glad you had a good time.😂
50 inches overnight once, `98 or `99 February I believe - West side avalanched, Eastsiders had it all morning. Made my way to 7th heaven and did chest/head deep laps. Was def my deepest day ever, probably lucky I didn`t get buried alive looking back
top 5 ? in what, Washington State ? understand, I LOOOOVE Stevens Pass, it was my local mountain for decades. that said, Stevens isnt even top 5 on the west coast, and nowhere near the top 10 in the Western US and Canada
@johnrussell2848 Unfortunately, I have to agree. Sadly, almost all of the Cascade mountains are in national forests and national parks. Regulations have prevented the building of any decent ski mountains. So Washington State is undeserved when it comes to skiing. The best ski resorts in the state are Crystal, Stevens, Baker. Alpental has some good expert terrain, but overall isn't that great. I live in Washington State and probably ski Stevens and Crystal more than anywhere else in the state. When I really want to hit the slopes for more than a day, I go up to BC.
hey! thanks for skiing and filming my home mountain! glad you liked it. those trees are fun and there are so many of them 😊

Skied Stevens MANY times, great video! I love that mountain.
PNW looks amazing! As a biginner, it's fun to know what views I can look forward to in the future!

Looks like a magical mountain ❄️🪄
It is!
I live not far from seattle and I love going up to stevens. I reccomend to go backside if open but only go there is you can handle blues well.
Try Arapahoe Basin for a small place with no corporate vibe. Great terrain.

So sad its not chiefs anymore
the mountain still is.
