I gotta question I got this metal line on top of my engine going from one side to the other and it's cracked and leaking anti freeze and I need to replace it but don't know wat it's called it's a 1980 pontiac grand prix sj
Tom Devine exactly if it doesn’t even seal then why put it jack ass, I’ve done plenty of water pumps without sealing the bolts so you just fail at it, enjoy your failures!
What about using sealant on WP bolts as some are drilled into the water jacket on the engine
Thanks for the cool video. I watched my Uncle DESTROY the pump on my grandmother's 77 Chevelle years ago....
Them you very much, video really helped me!

Help please, where were you putting the coolant at the end of the video? My truck has the same thing but is busted and I don't know what it is.
No sealant on the water pump bolts? Sounds like a recipe for leaks as part of them go into the water jacket...
You don’t ever want to take it out again or what? Lmfao so you one of those guys that put sealant in places it doesn’t need it
@@christopher4692 Huh I'm not sure why that would prevent them from coming out? Threads don't seal against water on their own 🙂. Enjoy your leaks!
