Great book. I heard a very smart, very big wall street guy with tears in his eyes describe some of the chapters - frontrunning, insider info, self-dealing, lots of tips packed into it guys. Don't forget about PPP-type gov't handouts and tax schemes. 🤑

This is how Tariff works: 1. Slamming Tariff brings manufacturing back to US 2. US firms make money and pay their employees 3. People have money to spend on domestic products. 4. China goes so broke their products become valueless. (This is what Trump has done, and why our labor market is still surviving)
Reverse this: 1. Chinese electric cars flood in to US 2. Consumers buy cheap Chinese cars and Ford, GM, Tesla go broke 3. No more employees 4. No money to even buy the cheap Chinese cars 5. Chinese make so much money they bribe US politicians to abandon their own country. (This is what the democrats are aiming for)
This is what happened for a long time, especially after Bill Clinton let the GLOBALISTS make profit by introducing Chinese products and sacrificing US companies.

If l were china, l would not wait for trump to impose tariffs , l would proceed before with a 20-30% tariffs on all products headed for export to the US. Then the tarifs revenues would stay in China while Americans consumers would get the same price increases as Trump tariffs would result. Imagine for a minute that China proceeds with that increase, the inflation in the US would go much higher and it would create an advantage to all other countries over the US.

what is he talking about? for cheap goods, maybe his idea works, but China controls supply chain for many high tech goods. a tariff on those does not transfer production to another tariff free location. it rises prices. we are not talking about luggage and bicycles here. EVs are not affordable in the US because of tariffs. same with many other high end goods. tariffs will slow consumption and general spending. that needs to happen anyway for a country that has so much debt and cant afford nice toys anymore
