You wouldn't have said that 4 years ago. Judson was a known powerhouse in the SA area and have 6 titles. When you open up new high schools your talent gets split up and that's what happened. He'll they aren't even ranked this season and was Killin Midland Legacy( ranked in state) 41-0 in one quarter by a QB who just moved up to JV. Coach made a mistake and took out all the players and Legacy made a comeback and Judson had to win in a 2nd half shootout.

Times change though friend... you're probably not ever going to get those glory days back, and you are 100% correct, that the ISD's having more and more kids pumped into certain districts have forced them to build out new HS's which then breaks your talent down even further. There is only so much blood you can draw from the stone. The reason why certain teams in the 6A have maintained dominance is because the ISD there specifically manufacturers that school zone for that HS - it's tailored to get the very best kids for the football program. These ISD's (the better ones) aren't dummies. They look at household demographics, average household income, etc. Where i'm at now - we had an opportunity years ago with 1 - 6A school to become a monster because of where we drew from. Then our area blew up, it's still blowing up - and is a highly desirable in state area. Now we have 2 - 6A HS's. In 2 years (they've already broken ground) they will have 3 - 6A HS's for this ISD. The vast majority of these kids come from upper middle income homes. What does that mean? It means that they have **options** they aren't pigeonholed into football as the only option. It reduces down the amount of talent the team has to pick and choose from. These schools will be lucky if they ever see a playoff berth again. Sad. If you took Texas teams - and allowed *just* the ISD to have 1 football team - and all the kids from the various HS's had to participate on 1 or 2 A/B type teams... no one in this country would have more dominant programs than the state of Texas. You would also see serious competition to North Shore, Duncanville, Guyer, etc. The one bright spot - is that Texas even amidst all this - puts more NFL pros in than any other state by a longshot. We're also second (to Florida) for D1 college recruiting. So Texas talent - is everywhere.

Texas High school football is overrated. They refuse to play nationally ranked teams outside of Texas, and when they do, they get spanked.
Cali public schools are garbage...You have to win 6 playoff games to be Public school champs of the ENTIRE STATE of TX. Not that regional 3 game playoff championship bullsht in CA.
Means absolutely nothing. hahaha 4 of those games are against CupCakes. Only two games mean anything at all. Also in most states, you have to win 15 games in California, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, and Pennsylvania booohoohoo you play 1 more game.
4 of those Texas playoff games are nobodies in the middle of nowhere with not a single 2 star player on the roster. Centennial would walk in their and not let a single team score on them in Texas playoffs.
