Another awesome show, always a blast watching the shows and fishing with big dave. Good to see he’s running cousins rods quality product and quality people, keep the dream alive
Going to be guiding the Olympic peninsula rivers this year for 150 per person instead of the usual 250 seat. I have 20 plus years experience. Will he building a new legitimate channel soon!
I Had a trip booked with Big Dave on this day and he cancelled saying that he had a dentist appointment. He was kind enough to hook me up with another guide but they did not take me on the Wilson which is where we were scheduled to go they instead took me on the Trask which has no Hatchery run, did end up landing one native and losing three more.
Dan Fisher They said wrapped but who knows. He also mentioned the "second hook" being caught. Who runs a second hook 27" back? One hook in the mouth and one in tail? Plus if you pause it right it looks like you can see the bead on the tail. Would explain why the fish just went up river and he couldn't control or turn it. I'd like to say these guys catch enough fish that they wouldn't need to keep a snagged fish ( and they do) but they also want to get a fish for the show so who knows. By the looks of it though I'd guess it was snagged and kept illegally.
No they definitely didn’t not snag that fish. He’s running two different setups one with bait and a yarny and and bead dropper with the second hook. But most definitely didn’t snag the fish! But definitely got a laugh out of these two comments!
I agree. HAHAHA! I guess my positive is that I do not like the taste of trout no matter what type. If it's not a bright king no thanks. And even then I only bonk a hand full of fish every now and then. I like my chicken and steak ;)
Man all day in a drift boat with Dave would be a whole new level of torture
Big Dave is always an excited fisherman. Great fun loving charachter
Man! Dave is a grade A guy. I'd love to have him on my boat any time! I was laughing pretty hard just watching. Thanks AWTV!
Big Dave is a show man and best fishing guide I know.
Good show! Watch them all.
I second on giving the 70's looking Yukon man his own show. The dude knows his fish, fished with him several times
Can big Dave have his own show??? He is a character!

There are to hatchery fish on the Trask river. Fewer, but they are in there.
Josh Sedivec true story! Caught some there too.
William Cooke these Hatchery fish are Strays from the Wilson River get your facts straight.
Nobody said they weren’t strays... just saying there are hatchery fish in the Trask.
What would a good coastal river be to to steelhead fish. Were new to the sport. thanks
Hire a guide a few times, so you'll have a clue.

Can you reach me how to bobber dog never done it before
It’s a very easy technique to figure out
Come fish the Smith river with me or fish halibut or bottom fish in northern calif
Hahaha “keep it out of these bushes” there’s nothing around all across the river
drift boats are sure a lot of work for the person rowing. he needs a kicker motor
kevin mccracken it’s actually not that bad. Drift boats are super light, rowed for the first time last year for winters and it was pretty easy
always hoping the steelies get away . like the show hate the killing of steelhead .
