- Renowned filmmaker Muzaffar Ali talking to RSTV anchor Irfan. Muzaffar Ali is an Indian film-maker, a fashion designer, a poet, an artist, a music-lover, a revivalist, and a social worker. He belongs to a Royal Muslim Rajput family of Kotwara. Muzaffar Ali had a successful career as a film maker.

You have demonstrated your excellence i Umrao Zaan. Since 1981 I have seen the film at least 50 times. You have captured the flavour, mood, culture and existing traditions of the society through your craftmanship. Though I do not command the Urdu language I can feel the pain and injustices prevailing towards women at that time. The music is superb. Both Rekha and Farooq Sheik are at their best in this movie. Living i Sweden since 1972 I crave for such masterpiece in my daily life. Mr Muzaffar Ali I look forward to seeing more of your films in the near future.

This presentation sucks. What a narrow mindedness, talking about Urdu poetry, culture of Owidh, the conversation you name it, every thing is all about Urdu, but there is not a single word which I can read. Just another shameless hijacking.

Dear sir, I am referring to every word appearing on the screen is in those alphabets which I can not read. Please look at the titles of old movies, English used to be on the top(our slave mentality), Hindi & Urdu would be side by side. I wish I could read Hindi. I like all the languages. But excluding Urdu words altogether is painful. I am sure you will not like to see something which you can not read. Regards.
