Even the cop haters will call the police when they are scared. Then they expect the police officer to protect them, diffuse the situation, and if necessary, be violent on their behalf. How about go out on patrol with your local police dept to see what they deal with. Police depts welcome people to do ride alongs. I recommend the night shift if you want to see the real world before condemning anyone.
Sounds like Female behavior (and some males) ..calling cops..expecting rush priority service..assuming cops automatically will take their side..even assuming the police are some kind of ninja heroes without incompetence.. I myself am not a "cop hater", and im also not a cop caller.

The job is hard. That doesn't mean we should just ignore it when police kill someone whether it was justified or not.
