This is actually genius, we know spidermans story already, but fleshing out the villains while having spidey sprinkled here and there only to be the final boss, would work soo well..

Y'know they could set up Ben Reily and have him just be a blonde Andrew Garfield. They don't wanna use Peter so just pick him (or kaine, hell any of the spider people tbh).
It is honestly really sad that there has literally only been 1 DC movies trilogy in the 21st century, just 1, whereas theres been atleast 15+ Marvel trilogies. Seriously, a major problem with DC is also that a lot of the time unlike marvel, they just don't produce as many movies. Like how on earth was there not a single DC movie in 2014 and 2015.
Past DC also wanted to just rush into their universe instead of taking the time to build up specific movies about specific characters
The sad reason for that is that DC is not a separate studio from Warner Bros. And they also have a terrible fanbase that literally wants the universe to end just so they can start over.
Bring in Miles, this will bring people back to the theatres 🎉

Making six whole movies just to set up a seventh doesn’t really make sense. Giving all of the Sinister Six anti-hero arcs won’t really work either. Because then they’re the heroes, but nobody wants to see Spider-Man as the villain.
No, the way to fix it is just to make your movies *good*. Hand it all over to the team that wrote ITSV and ATSV. Honestly, I think Madame Web could be a really cool movie in the right hands. The concerning thing is they handed the job of writing the movie over to the guy that thought “it’s Morbin’ time” was something that should be said in a film.
I agree the best way to do it is to involve Spider-Man and make good movies, the point I was making was if they don’t want to do that then I guess making the six movies might be better than whatever they are currently doing
scorpin would be a good villian for spider-man 4 as homecoming already set him up. I would say go with the orginal idea that he's basically made to kill spider-man and is a legit threat.
I think a majority of the fanbase agrees that scorpion would be a great villain for Spider-Man 4! Had it be a grounded movie focusing on Peter’s freshman year in college fighting the scorpion at a street level threat

Yeah morbius without spiderman or the perfect time to introduce the new second blade is beyond wild crazy buggin out that they should’ve just kept Wesley Snipes because he’s still in top notch shape but naaaaaw. Anyway hope Maharsha Ali (pardon me please forgive if spelled wrong) does a great job!
Main question for any story or long term story telling is what’s the end game. Can’t just shoot out a universe without no reasoning behind it that’s why the MCU was successful. Thano and the infinity stones was the goal and each movie was connected to thano and him wanting the stones.
Sony is just shooting out these movies without any direction. Madame web tbh should had been front and center of the Sony spider verse because she’s the reason or one of the reason the spider verse be happening

I was so mad when Venom grossed a billion or near a billion dollars. Nothing against Tom Hardy but I personally don’t think Venom is relevant without Spider-Man. And I knew that Sony would just keep shitting out garbage movie after garbage movie just to keep Spider-Man’s IP. Its so frustrating maybe if both Craven and Madam Web perform terribly then maybe Sony will start to listen to their fans.
I’m all for more different and creative projects, but sadly bug studios, like Sony, will only listen to what the money says. The only way they will listen to the fans is if the movies flop. But Morbius flopped TWICE.. so who knows.
The fact that these Sony villain movies lack any connection to a single Spider-Man baffles my mind

I mean they did venom comics before the movie so its not that gar out of reach. I liked the movies tbh its just dumb fun and it was nice to see a venom adpatation even if it wasnt super comic or spiderman accurate and i think it would be cool if andrew garfield spider and venom existed in the same universe giving him the opportunity to fight an alien
I think the Venom movies are fun bad! If they don’t have Andrew in the third one then it’s a HUGE missed opportunity.

I agree with the idea of building towads the sinister 6 but it might be hard for them to have the same antagonist for 6 movies and then a team up to go against the same antagonist again, i thjnk people would accuse them of being formulaeic or repetitive, and wed all know what to expect, however they could make spider-man a known presence, perhaps the villains act in the dark becahse they dont want to draw spider-mans attentukn or something and only a couple of them use him as a villain, also if it is andrews spider-man, we could see him actually be a little more unhinged after Gwen's death so even though he is the good guy there could be legitimate reason for our villains/protagonists to fear him

I think that marvel is specifically interested in sony's ssu characters than these specific versions. But I do want to see harry and gwen in the mcu tho. If you are gonna have a small scale peter aprker story then BRING in peter parker chaacters and not bootleg miles side characters.
