Assessment redesign for Generative AI

- The emergence of Generative AI such as ChatGPT has created significant pressure on some longstanding assessment practices in higher education. In this session, participants will:
1. explore the key capabilities of Generative AI that have led to the pressure to redesign assessment tasks
2. interrogate the ways assessment needs to be modified and/or completely reimagined in light of the capabilities of GPT-4
3. discuss the short, medium and long-term implications of Generative AI for how we assess students at UQ.
