I met Jonathan Brandis shortly before he passed away & he was honestly one of the most genuine people I'd ever come across. Truly a good soul. Jonathan wanted to get into writing & directing & these were things I could've seen him doing. I remember telling him that I couldn't wait to see what he came up with. He mentioned that he had directed some short films & wanted to expand into feature films. His passing was a tragic waste.

Corey Haim was one of my celebrity crushes. His death hit me especially hard. I am a child of the 80s and 90s, and so "The Lost Boys," "Dream Machine," "Fast Getaway," "License to Drive," "Prayer of the Rollerboys," etc. were part of my ever-expanding list of movies I loved to watch. My dad was 48 and at work began telling me his arms felt broken. This went on for months then spread throughout his legs and back. Take things seriously when someone you know who never complains, starts actually telling you things are hurting. He had a rare type of lymphoma (case #13 worldwide). His religious beliefs kept him from accepting the one procedure that could have given him a fighting chance. Sadly he bled to death slowly over two and a half days in excruciating pain. We never know when the last time we will see our loved ones will be and I try to live my life by the words of my father “don’t ever leave or go to bed angry, do not let them finally words you say be words you want to but cannot take back. Those might be the last things you get to do and say with your loved ones and don’t let that be something you will regret “. Not saying allow toxic ppl in your life but even then don’t let your anger get the best of you better to say I love you but I will not accept or allow you to bring toxicity into my life and you are welcome to be part of my life after you get your life figured out rather than something vile and hateful and on their level be the final words left between you. You in no way need to be best friends just don’t let things you feel be hateful because they take up rent free space in your head. Take care all and cherish those who cherish you and be kind you never know when the last time will be the last time.

No Merlin Santana? That one personally hurt me, because I have such a huge crush on him as a kid. He played Rudy Huxtable's boyfriend on The Cosby show, and was on the Steve Harvey show for a long time. Some girl accused him of hitting on her, and her boyfriend shot him to death while he was sitting in his car, but somehow basically got off.

Jonathan Brandis was a great young actor .so very sad.the two Corey's bring back so many memories 😓i think the reason frusciante disappeared for years was guilt leading river astray.he said he was haunted by ghosts during that period when he was a recluse .

This hits hard to home. My older brother was cast in some British childrens show back in the early 2000s. It was called Sir Gadabout and they showed it on ITV. Some sort of comedy or something I never actually watched it. Anyway they paid my parents £10,000 for a 2 year contract. He was only 15 at the time. Anyway the show got cancelled and he was left high and dry. He thought he was going to be a famous actor or something. After that he went to all of these auditions but nobody hired him. He took his own life back in 2010. He was only 23.

Jonathan brandis's death has always made me feel sad as well as Brittany Murphy's. He was so fantastic in IT and I know he would have been an amazing actor if he kept acting and hadn't fallen down that hole of depression. Poor kid. As for Brittany Murphy they found that her house was actually hoarded up so the mold was part of that situation and that's what got her into having baf pneumonia. Both is what killed her. She didn't want to go to the hospital to get looked after and it got away it got out of control and the pneumonia took her.
