Good movie, not your typical shoot em up western .. but a great story. My wife puts onions on her feet & chest when she has a cold or flu.. & takes vitamins & herbs.. it always fixes her.
“The Ballad Of Little Jo” 1993 Fine Line Features Written and Directed by: Maggie Greenwald. Starring: Suzy Amis Cameron & David Chung which were nominated for : Independent Spirit Awards for Best Female Lead & Best Supporting Male. The cast was phenomenal! Note: ( Mrs. Cameron married Director James Cameron in 2000) As a self taught jazz composer, writer, and inventor…. I was saddened to see it end so tragically 😮 I vowed to only put out stories that would have HAPPY ENDINGS ❗️ The world has seen & heard more than enough heartbreak and heartache. To the directors credit…. Since it was adapted from a true story….. she couldn’t change the facts. 😢 God bless, 🎼RAIN AGAIN 🎼
It’s not too often I find movies of this genre or from this time period that I haven’t already watched a dozen times already, and although this concept has produced a number of similar films. I do believe it’s the first time I watched this particular movie, and although it was very slow and drug out in different parts. But overall was a halfway decent movie, about love, loss, acceptance and overcoming the human condition and the adversities that come with it.
She should've at least gone back to get all the money he sold her for and a loaded gun + ammo; OR better yet- just taken over his peddlers wagon and business, keeping a loaded gun ready for the 2 Army predators to feed the coyotes with or anyone else...lol
There was a gal who drove a wagon over the hill from Santa Cruz to Los Gatos as a man for years. Quite a treacherous path in the day as I understand. Nobody was the wiser.
I'll give it 9 out of 10, Better than I expected! Pretty authentic wardrobe, except for the suspenders with metal -clamp adjusters (not common until late 1890's / early1900s) Suspenders 1800s -1890 adjusted by buttons and extra button-holes, NOT metal clamps ! Also revolver holsters worn too low ! Old West holsters worn high on waist ! I know what I'm talking about, studied 18th and 19th century history since 1958, BA from University. (Staff Sgt.. Ret., Marine Nam vet -1969-'70. USMC /USAF/ ARNG).12/12/2024.
Compared with Shane, Once upon a time in the West, Fistful of Dollars series, Outlaw Josey Wales, and all of Eastwood’s Westerns this film is “Shite”!!
Outstanding I thoroughly enjoyed that
This is an amazing film. I been searching for this!!!!
It's called the ballad of little Joe monihan
Wow! Marlin Brando, Robert Duval, Kevin Costner, Lee Van Cliff, Clint Eastwood, Antonio Bandaras, and Omar Sharif were all magnificent in this movie!
...and Jacky Chan
@@JBplumbing12Jacky chan sucks

Beautifully shot. It's a little slow moving in spots but well worth the watch. 1:46:02

The Ballad of Little Jo (1993)
Those cowboys must of been a bit Dumb …not to see that little Joe was in fact a Josephine …too good looking especially when she smiled 👀🤷♂️
Fantastic!
👍👍👍👍....great story! great movie!
Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, and Mel Gibson as well as De Niro really know how to do serious acting in this movie.
I didn't know de niro, Stallone, Cruise, or Gibson was in this flick.
DeNiro is no longer an actor, he's a leftwing looney activist.

good movie , no need for scam with G & D saying all those actors are in the movie and you left out John Wayne

Is this what you call a spaghetti western hahahaha 😅😅😅 it's garbage

A bit macabre towards the end.
Lil joe going around turning everyone gay. Ha!
Should have been a Mexican, the best horse riders.
You mean donkey/burro riders. Leave the horses to the real Americans 😊
Vaqueros!
@@loboxx337 donkey riders
@mickeywhite7878 Conquistadors out of Spain were better riders. They caught the mexifries didn't they?

Dumb western, slow, drawn out, and going nowhere.

that looks like a fir, not a pine. how come everybody thinks every evergreen is a "pine".
Pine, fir, blue mountain cypress.
Not 'everybody' does !
Because they don't know.
That's because fir trees belong to the pine family, pinaceae.
Well, some of us have grown up around oak and mesquite and pecan trees and don’t see many of the evergreen variety
=5+.
This was stupid.
