- back at it again with another costuming build that took a month to complete yeehaw
it’s been a dream of mine to be a mermaid ever since i was a child and my local acting group gave me the chance to make that dream come true. i feel so incredibly magical in this outfit!! also, sorry for not talking too much and sounding off…mermaiding for six hours in a heat wave takes a toll on your throat lol.

I love how the how dance costume and the mermaid tail looked together!!! the layering was so cool!! also so iconic of Mr. and Mrs. Burns having nautical stash of craft supplies in the attic!!!!
i really didnt think it’d work out so well but it did!!! and my parents REALLY came through with that aesthetically perfect netting
the finished look is STUNNING honestly love the little accessory belt I need to make one for my next ren faire!

Also, incredible jumpscare at 13:19. Dunno why that buzzer sound got me so good, but I nearly leapt out of my skin.
And what a fun opportunity, my wife and I have been to Ren Faires many times, and the performers and character actors are our favorite part.
