As for running late pre mobile phones we were more tolerant of arrival times from friends. I often took a book to read if I might be waiting alone. ❤❤❤
I’m loving how your self made labels are enhancing your ephemera making! I hope you love your new printer. I remember working hard with my mom when she got a computer and printer. She did well at first but then it became a lot of work until she just decided not to use it. Even satellite tv was a trial. She would call her grandson to come over to fix it for her and dad. I’m 67 but thankfully was motivated in my thirties to teach myself how to keep up with technology. But I do think in many ways technology can be more time consuming than doing things the old fashioned way🤷🏻♀️

Choose the maximum ink on insta ink on the sixth months. You’ll get loads free. Then you can reduce to a smaller amount and save money. ❤❤❤. I have a cheaper HP 6400 envy. It works brilliantly.
I am also a lover of HP printers and Instant ink!!! So sorry you have been so frustrated but can certainly understand. Looking forward to you getting your new printer. It cracked me up when you were talking about Lulu and how she was wondering how we lived without cell phones!!! I have heard that many times and it always makes me laugh. It is also funny when someone wonders how we managed without computers. Progress!!! Thanks for the amazing video! They always make me so happy💜💜💜💜💜

Oh my goodness! I have a Tom Tom story too! We had one for years, worked fine UNTIL one trip, our longest and it’s last. We were headed half way across the United States and literally an hour in it started saying recalculating every ten seconds. LONGEST TRIP EVER!!! Constantly recalculating….We lost count of the recalculating wrong turns she took us on with all her recalculating. We finally just stopped and got a real map, and threw the Tom Tom in the trash trash! Nowadays there’s an insurance commercial making fun of the older gps that constantly says “recalculating”, which makes us all laugh because it was a true story for us.

Ugh technology can be such a pain. I spiral into crankiness with printers they have a mind of their own! Possessed for sure. Love the nest image and your lovely new tags. And yeah to more classes at the Green door hopefully I can squeeze a trip in.

I’m so sorry, that you had to have this awfull experience😰. I totally understand your frustration - I react in the same way, when appliances I depend on stop working, and I get so frustrated until everything is working again. It’s a terrible feeling🤯. Understand wanting some things on paper. Allows one to go to the file when the brain gives out. Went on a retreat that required me to use google maps was for four days. Got there ok but the trips home was a nightmare got to see the countryside never seen so many hills. Got to understand the saying get out of town before the sun goes down. Have to be on alert for kangaroos.
I hope you get it all sorted out! Life can be challenging sometimes.i don't have a printer so i don't get digitals. But i can understand the frustration. This journal is lovely! TFS🤗

I print laser color copies at a copy shop for nicer pages as I only have an inkjet, which does the job as long as I'm not putting wet medium on top. Always love your videos ❤

Yeesh. What a weekend! Printer issues are guaranteed to make a person crazy and blood pressure through the roof. I am certain we can all survive waiting another week. 😊❤❤ four years after our move we finally have high speed fibre optic internet. Thank goodness!!!
I am 52 and absolutely hate whenever I have to learn how to operate a new mechanical device. Phone, printer, new car. Hate it! I hope your printer “Adventure” ends well😊
You could write out bullet point instructions for your mother in law to use the computer and printer to jog her memory. ❤❤❤
Rachel, don't you worry about us. We all have issues from time to time no matter how much we plan, prepare, and do the best we can. Relax because the world is still turning with or without a printer. We (and you) will survive. In the grand scheme, there are worse things to happen for all of us.

I totally understand about printer issues!! I have some of the same problems. Its so frustrating I have wanted to crawl the walls at one point. I am still dealing with some things, for all the tech we have why do printers have to be some of the most frustrating items?

Yep, lots of road maps! I remember driving from Germany (when we lived there) to Florence and Venice and mistaking a minor road for a major road . We took a very long but interesting drive through all of the small villages in the Dolomites before we realized our mistake. Good memories❤
What a mess about your printer! I hope you get one soon. I love my HP printer. I also use the Insta Ink for 4-5 years. In the past 4 months it's taking 7-10 days for ink and they weren't sending a back up ink, so I'm without ink! I liked the service until recently. We'll see. I'm using the Medieval Mirage digitals in my next journal because of your videos! I'm altering a book I found "A Garden In Venice." The pictures are all very old so I thought it fit perfectly. Thank you Rachel for all you do, but especially how you inspire me.

I get your frustration. I love my HP printer and the Insta Ink program and would be very grumpy if I was without a printer and ink. Fortunately we live close to several places to buy printers so we have never had issues when we needed to replace one. I love watching you craft and enjoy your wit and conversations. Hope it all works out for you soon

Which MM kits will we be using next week?

Just curious, what issues did you have with the eco tank & which model was it? Was considering one, now not so sure.
My first one broke after 6 months. The second one doesn't print as well as the HP and I was contimually have to align it and clean the print head. I could also only print on regular paper, it would go bananas if I tried to print on any other type of paper.
So…what printer do you suggest? I’m getting my first one.
I don't know yet as it hasn't arrived.
