Y'all, this episode is so timely I want to cry. I just graduated from college a few weeks ago and have been figuring out where I exist in the world. I've been nervous to jump into my career, partially due to imposter syndrome. But the idea that you can use feelings from imposter syndrome to identify skills and qualities which are associated with a position to become the best fit for the job has changed my perspective towards everything. Thank you & love you guys so much
It's my birthday today and I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than getting to watch a new oddvice episode! It's the big 21 for me and this weekend when I go out I'll make sure to have a drink/smoke some weed for my oddvice girlies!

dude... narcissists are created through child trauma, and they can definitely be in a relationship with another narcissist or someone with narcissistic tendencies. You get the kind of relationship LVP and Ken have. Both are manipulative, and both have roles in the relationship. They drive each other crazy, but it's them against the world... It's amazing when you can see they stumble, you can really see how each one has a different technique. Narcissists are also easy to manipulate, they are really simple, they are just a shell, we are the ones who assume there's something more, so we put ourselves in their shoes and sometimes we don't realize we are projecting. Emily D Baker really opened my eyes by asking "how do you feel seeing this witness cry?", and the words sometimes make you sad, but watching it casually, the real reactions stand out.

Also there’s different types of narcissists I am the child of two narcissistic parents my mothers a covert vulnerable narc which is the worst kind to me bc they trick you into thinking they’re always the victim my dad is grandiose he won’t even hide he’s like Jax Taylor. They only lasted 3 years and only tried to make it work because of me. They both would manipulate me and both don’t understand why I’m not contact with either of them. They make horrible cruel parents.
I was a narcissist and my ex is too. Although I realised I was one but I don’t think he ever will😅

Disappointing to hear your take about Ariana. y’all need to understand she had literally just found out and only a few months had gone by. that was not enough time for her to have healed or processed or moved on from her anger. Also as far as her not leaving, it was because her money was tied up in it which you will find out later in the show that Tom couldn’t even afford to buy her out. She had every right to be as angry as she did and she’s a lot better now, a year later. Also thank your lucky stars you haven’t spent years with a narcissist, cause experiencing their abuse and the degree that they cheat is enough to make you want to end your life, so her anger was fully justified.

My narcissistic MIL was in a 7 year relationship with another narcissist. It was awful, they hated each other. Constant manipulation of everyone around them including each other, scream fights, breaking up once a year. Sooooo bad
I WAS A PAGENT QUEEN AND I HATED ITTTT!!! first off I was a big tomboy growing up and my mom put me in it to try to make me a little more girly. At the age of like 7 I was told my hair wasn’t long enough, I shouldn’t wear glasses so I needed to wear contacts (I’m literally blind as a bat if I don’t have my glasses), and I was too short.
I actually did pageantry from the age of 4 to 10 when my parents could no longer afford for me to participate. It depends on the type of pageant you are participating in. Mine was no makeup, all natural beauty with no swimsuit competition. I highly enjoyed my time and would have loved to continue. Again. It really depends on what kind of pageant you're in because there are intents pageants out there!
