That’s the entire roster board filled out. So if they plan on adding more characters, they’re going to have to increase it the size of it for the next update.
i didn't know rozatte was meant to be a male in the jp version, the female VA in english actually fits quite well for the non-alt voice imo, although to be fair i did assume rozatte was a female based on the visual design and name (i never played quest), now i can see how it would work both ways, these japanese bishounens can be really ambiguous sometimes
Okay I thought maybe I was mishearing it and I was crazy for thinking Rozatte had a female voice in English. But at the same time I didn't mind it too much given without the Japanese voice I would not have known he was a boy. In fact, thinking about it more I kinda like it lol

What a strange decision to give Rozatte a woman's voice. Looks like they didn't get the memo that he's in the Boys combination in Quest. There's also a bunch of recycled poses from Quest between him and Legamunt (their character selection images are their 7* cards, as well). BTW, while not related to voices, Ragnus's changed name is now exclusive to the English version. Other versions (such as the Spanish one) changed it back to Lagnus.
I don't think they thought he was a girl, more so that his design is pretty androgynous so they got a woman to do a deep voice for him. Both voices fit imo.

Apart from the characters, this was added: - Super Spicy difficulty for Boss Raid mode. Better rewards, higher enemy stats, and they spam that out-of-nowhere attack much more often - Spectator Mode - More Settings for Free Play rooms - Four soundtracks (BGM 30 from 20th Anniversary -which I don't remember who it belonged to-, Madou Monogatari's dungeon theme, Puyo Puyo 7's last battle theme, and Escape from the City from Sonic Adventure 2)
Not sure why they stopped doing the age gimmick with Lagnus considering it's a big part of his character. They could have easily made him go child form when he loses and we'd be pretty satisfied.
I mean-his VA being a woman doesn't necessarily mean he's a girl in the english version. There are boys with androgynous voices after all. And I feel like it fits him better because his design is quite androgynous as well
You know, while I don't like having the Quest characters here, seeing as I've never actually played it, there's something else that bothers me about this update. Why doesn't Harpy have her original AI?

A lot of puyo characters are like that, I get confused so much a lot of the time.
