Chicken Seasoning
oil
8-10 wings cut
1 tbsp poultry seasoning Cooking With Tammy brand preferred
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tbsp chicken bouillon
1/8-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
cornstarch
Bake at 425F Flip every 20 minutes. Bake for about 40 minutes to 1 hour. Bake til temp reaches 165F
Firecracker Sauce
1/2 cup buffalo sauce or hot sauce1/2 cup honey2 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tsp ginger paste1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup brown sugar optional
Mambo Sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup distilled white or apple vinegar
2 tbsp. pineapple juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tsp. sweet paprika
1/2 cup (packed) dark or light brown sugar or 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Corn starch is a thickening agent, so what’s the purpose of the cornstarch on the chicken?
Its what makes the chicken crispy. However, she used 5x the amount of corn starch to make it happen. You really only need to add like 2 teaspoons of it for this many wings maybe even less.
@@hayezeus Not true. You use 2 tsps when you are making a slurry to thicken a sauce. When you are using cornstarch for frying chicken or baking it. You need more cornstarch to make the chicken harder and crispier on the outside. If you don't use enough of it. Your chicken will still be soft after frying it
@@opalivy739Well I’ve been cooking wings in the oven with cornstarch for God knows how long but what do I know right? You don’t think I’ve figured out how much is needed for crispy wings after 20+ years of cooking?
Also I’m well aware of what a cornstarch slurry is, how to make it, and its purpose. Apparently you do not. You can use 10 teaspoons to make a slurry if you want, just depends on how much sauce you need to thicken. Equal parts water to cornstarch is a slurry, not 2 teaspoons. You can make this many wings very crispy with 2 teaspoons and instead of making up opinions on the fly that you know nothing about, how about you try it first.
@@hayezeus Why didn't you make a video of your wings? Why don't you create a food channel and post a video on how to use the correct measurements on using cornstarch on baked chicken.
This is someone else's channel that made their chicken the way that they wanted too. That didn't need your help and advice on how much cornstarch to use on their chicken.
I know how to cook and don't need your advice on how to cook. Learn how to humble yourself and respect how other people cook their food.

Awesome recipe. I use to own a deli. The reasoning behind the chicken washing thing is simple. It reduces your odds of not contaminating areas in your kitchen. When your water splatters millions of microscopic organisms become airborne its not about where the water goes. Heat from your oven kills those naked to the eye molecules. So if you wash your chicken will you get sick? Probably not however it will increase your likely hood that you will. Not washing your chicken will not decrease your odds your oven kills them. Your chicken is already pre washed. Remove slime by pat drying with a paper towel. Fantastic recipe!
