That hilarious Kikkoman moment really had me died laughing! First, Wendy said "Ikkanomanyaki." Secondly, Sandy said "Kimanokki." And lastly, Gwen said "Kimkowa."
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this. (They should have legitimately deducted $25 from their prize check. It'd be a funny story well worth the $25 for years to come.)
In this episode, something unusual happens at 26:34 as Stephanie and Wendy look to see that after winning the money they dropped the jar of Ragu spaghetti sauce on the floor and broke leaving a mess and you can actually see the mess at 26:36
And not only that, though you could barely see it, near the broken Ragu jar on the floor there was also the Wizard Charcoal Lighter bottle that Wendy dropped during their celebration.
I see winning teams Chad & Pam, Linda & Kim, Mike & Paul and Ski & Konny in the audience... looks like they returned for the Sweep of Champions. Can’t wait to find out their fate there when BUZZR airs it.
During the 30 second shoot out, team one said "Not now but.....later" and then the second team gave the same clue but they didn't get disqualified for it. Why? I wonder if they would have won without the 30 extra seconds they got because of it.
Sometimes I wonder if people actually look at the signs hanging from the ceiling when trying to find products. And how did that woman not ok now the word "now"? And the Japanese would be angry after that first Round Robin word.
I was about to say the same thing. And I think Stephanie is hotter, Ruprecht was over there flirting with her at 20:40. When does he ever do that in any other episode?
The woman's st phonies and wendy were jumping for joy after they found 5000 dollars until the glass broken and the sauce splattered that's not good butt the good news they got the 5grand
During the first commercial Break, there was a "premiering tomorrow" promo for the Lifetime movie "For the Future: The Irvine Fertility Scandal." A Google search of that movie indicates that the movie premiered on August 21, 1996. Therefore, this particular rerun must be from August 20, 1996

Gwen's answer sounds like either a name of a hula dancer or a name of a drag queen. LOL
Matthew Austin I laughed so funny
kornmaze
TRIPLE STUMPER!!!
Lol that was pretty funny
Just love watching these older shows!!
She spiked the Ragu at the end lol. It’s all over the floor. Cleanup on aisle 3!
I like your show very much I watch you all the time now
David R. Laugh is hilarious!😄
The 30 Second Shootut Is Great!
That, the Snack Attack Movie Game and David's Barnyard Farm Animals are my top three favorite games in the second round.
@Allan R
My favorite animals are bats. What is(are) your favorite animal(s)?
LOL! Funny guesses for Kikkoman during the Round Robin!
Matthew Austin lol yeah it was funny
@Al Sky Allen
My favorite animals are definitely bats. What is(are) favorite animal(s)?
I have no idea which Isle the Murphy Oil Soap was in.
That was the part that had me cracking up the most
The only time there's been a $4,975 grand prize on Supermarket Sweep. :-)
A year late, but the penalties only take place in the Big Sweep.
@@gameshowguy2000 I see somebody missed the joke. Besides, it was broken after the bell so the penalty wouldn't count anyway.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this. (They should have legitimately deducted $25 from their prize check. It'd be a funny story well worth the $25 for years to come.)
Gwen and Stephanie both at the candy counter was quite a funny sight. I've never seen 2 shoppers at there (the candy counter, that is) before.

One of my bf and I fav shows lol💞❤️❤️
Wendy & Stephanie were a great team together!!
P
This was the first year David did away with the sweaters.
That the day the 90s died 😄
I actually liked the shirt and tie better. It made him look more like a supermarket manager.
@@machoman1016naw the day 80s died lol😅
26:33 - aaaaand this is why you don't use glass products in the Bonus Sweep.
Or the Big Sweep or *even* the Mini-Sweep...good luck trying to clean that up and *not* cut your hands.
That music heard during the 30-second shootout game cracks me up, especially that low note heard every few seconds!
I see winning teams Chad & Pam, Linda & Kim, Mike & Paul and Ski & Konny in the audience... looks like they returned for the Sweep of Champions. Can’t wait to find out their fate there when BUZZR airs it.
How do you not get Kikkoman? That was easy.
20:16 great sportsmanship between team 1 and 2.
Wow what a big ending first a $5000 dollar win and a broken ragu jar you will never know what is going to happen on super market sweep.
I wonder if Wendy can still jump like that.
Loved this show ty for sharing
FYI, this video is NOT from 1993. If Debt is being advertised it started in 1996. ;)
Then this is a rerun.
For your information, Lifetime aired new episodes until June 16, 1995 and then aired reruns until August 14, 1998
I can't imagine a time before Kikkoman was a household name.
During the 30 second shoot out, team one said "Not now but.....later" and then the second team gave the same clue but they didn't get disqualified for it. Why? I wonder if they would have won without the 30 extra seconds they got because of it.
+doorrkk I think it was because the clue wasn't correctly guessed the first time.
Michael Glickman Thanks for the response Michael. That make's sense, I didn't realize that she had guessed the clue incorrectly.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who caught that
ragu cleanup on aisle 6
Safety Cleanup for Broken Glass, Aisle 6 please.
would they still get to keep the money even though the pasta sauce jar breaks?
I believe so, if that happened during the big sweep, it would be a penalty if an item breaks
+Marco Macias Well, since David didn't mention it to them, I guess so.
OAD: June 14, 1994
CLEAN UP ON AISLE 4!
@THE OFFICIAL TBONE2004

They're lucky that Ragu bottle didn't break during the Sweep.
9:09... some creative clues there, ladies... not!
Where's the penalty for broken glass jar?! 💔
This may be a couple years late, but this occurred in the Bonus Sweep. The penalty rule is only for the Big Sweep.
@@gameshowguy2000 Also further more, in the Big Sweep there are penalties for running into a Cameraman or a Market Display such as the Sodas.
They get penalized for dropped items, so I wonder about that!! (NAH, probably not after they won!)
Idan O'Reilly I think they only get penalized when the drop stuff during the actual sweep.
4:52 _Supermarket Sweep_ vamp music is slightly higher pitched
Wendy's hot!
Wendy is Hot. I tap her!
I was about to say the same thing. And I think Stephanie is hotter, Ruprecht was over there flirting with her at 20:40. When does he ever do that in any other episode?
@@marcpjoyner Right. I was like what is that all about?
@@marcpjoyner I think Stephanie is hotter, myself.
These commercials are hilarious
Wendy & Stephanie’s Big Sweep.
🍭 Bag Of Candy ($100)
♻️ Recycling Center ($100)
11:33 you're welcome 😂
WOW With 5 seconds to go!!!
The woman's st phonies and wendy were jumping for joy after they found 5000 dollars until the glass broken and the sauce splattered that's not good butt the good news they got the 5grand
Wow Tomorrow is very Near
This must’ve been a repeat at the time this was recorded just by the Pampers commercial that aired right before the sweep.
Breathable? Diapers? Air flows in...
Should Wendy and Stephanie get a $25.00 Penalty because they dropped the jar of Spaghetti sauce on the floor?
Lol nope
No one:….
Stephanie having to clap for her opponents: 🙄👏🏼😒….
That sandy girl didn’t even try smh
Didn’t they ever have seafood or big slabs of salmon, etc.
@26:36 Clean up on aisle #2
